Small park so there are no bad seats. Has tickets at several different price points from seats behind home plate to grass seats on the side. Some nights they cater to children.
This is a great facility for minor league baseball. Easy in and out parking. The baseball is never great, but always fun.
We decided to stop to watch a game on the way back from picking my daughter up from college. Forgot who the Legends were playing, but had a great time. Very clean park, lots of food and drink options. Family friendly and easy to get to. I'd go again in May of 2015.
Great time to watch a game. Comfortible seats. Not a bad seat in the stadium. Very family friendly. Park for the kids to play. Food and drinks good to. Tuesday is $ hotdog nite and Thursday $ drink nite.
We were in Lexington for a week of business and had Thursday night free so decided to go to a minor league baseball game. Prices were good and it was $1 draft beer night and this was for local micro brews too. We had a great time and definitely recommend if your in Lexington to visit the ball park.
We try to go every summer. It is fun, and they have a kids area. You can even have a Birthday Party there! I love the dug out seats, and the box seats! Both different experiences, and super fun. They really try to get the whole family involved. Tons of good food!
Fireworks were great. Nice family outing. Eat before you go. Food prices are outrageous. Tuesdays are .37 cent hot dog nights and Thursdays are $1 Pepsi/beer nights.
My friend & I arrived for an 11:30 Game, we get there ahead of time to see B.P. , Starting Pitcher Warm ups & tour of inside of stadium ( possible food & beverage stops ) plus a stop at the Souvenir store. We usually can get seats anywhere but we chose in the 2nd level to the left of home plate ( looked like a good place to get fouled balls ) I journeyed down to home Bullpen to watch Game Starter warm up. I usually wear some gear of the Home team but I didn't have any so I decided to wear a conversational piece ( Papi Embroidered Shirt in Red Sox Colors , It's OUTSTANDING ). It worked. A nice gentleman, Will Mallard , came up & started a conversation with me . He said that he had worked for the Red Sox long ago & that the SP was his boy. He invited both me & my friend to come down and sit with him & his family. I went down but my friend decided to stay to see if he could get a ball. Will's seats were next to the dugout, I started to wonder who he was, ( found out later He was a sponsor for SP, Cody Reed, & Treasurer for the Legends Alumni Asso ) . He got a foul ball from the coach & asked if he could go up & give it to my Friend , he did & Frank followed him down to our seats . We met his wife ,Beth ( who for the first time ever said I have an Accent ) After the game he got Cody autograph a ball each for us. NOW AIN'T THAT SPECIAL.
I've never been to the park but have passed by it thousands of times... The game was exciting! The announcers were energetic and the between innings entertainment was awesome! My row won free coney dogs, so that was great too! The Legends have made a fan out of me! We ate at the restaurant too and it was pretty good... Menu was a bit limited BUT it was still good. Also, don't leave without a bag of kettle corn!!! Management was there and making sure we were having a good time... It was a great evening!
Attended a showcase at this park and the facilities were excellent.A very nice minor league park!! I would have liked to see the park full of fans during one of the Lex Legends games.
