The park is great for kids and adults. Adults should definitely visit the veterans memorial. The kids playground is wonderful.
Crowded at times, due to many groups using the park for gatherings and limited parking.
This is a lovely, well-maintained park, with a couple wild life areas. One is sort of a nature pond/park and the other has Bison, elks, etc. Nice picnic areas, great place to exercise dogs. Sledding area in winter.
We were at an air conditioned building in the park next to the Veterans Memorial. Hugh playground nearby. Plenty of shade. Something for everyone.
Huge modern playground structure for kids of all ages. The kids could spend hours here. Lots of tables, benches and shade for the parents to sit while letting the kids run around crazy.
Gets busy on first nice spring days but great playground for kids and a nice Korean war memorial at the edge of the park
We visited Lincoln for my dads 80th birthday party held here. We used to live in Lincoln and brought our son tho this park to play at. It is so nice and well kept with restrooms that are clean and eating areas as well. Will definately be back!
this park is very scenic. nice place to walk through. especially in the spring and fall. good bike trail runs through here, too. they have nice areas for a picnic, too.
It's a nice addition to Lincoln's - otherwise quite ugly - downtown but it's a bit isolated and there isn't much going on here. It's a nice walking and biking trail area. There aren't any restaurants of shops near by, but given that it's a new thing they will eventually pop up.
Antelope Park is home to the Auld Pavilion with one of the best dance floors in Lincoln. There is a Big Band dance every Tuesday night (except for voting days) from 7:00 to 9:00, a contra dance the 1st Saturday of every month from 7:00 to 10:00, and a country dance the last Saturday of every month. Many other community and private events take place at the Auld. It is a historic building that literally is know for dancing on the rooftop in former days, and was the home of many family and square dances in the past.
