Hello,My girlfriend and me visited yellowstone in july 2014. Be decided to contact Yellowstone Guides to do some wildlife watching (figured they would know some good spots and could give some background info). Based on the Tripadvisor ratings I contacted the Yellowstone Guides. Kirsa was our guide and we had a really good time. She told us a lot of background stories about the park (animals and history etc) and she was just good company as well. If I go back, I'd surely contact them again. Highly recommended.
I've always wanted to go camping deep into the mountains, but when I finally convinced my dear wife to go, she "happened" to read about the possible bear sightings and became terrified. The only way she would go camping in Montana was with a tour guide. So we stumbled upon Yellowstone Guidelines and they provided the perfect 3 night excursion into Yellowstone's back country. The whole experience was a blast... something we will never forget. Our guide was easy going, knowledgeable and very helpful during the entire trip.I can only say great things about this company and would highly recommend them.
Our family; two grandparents, four parents, four kids, hired Chris last summer for two days in Yellowstone. It was a perfect blend of Chris' experience on where to go and what to see, with our varied abilities and desires. We saw all of the popular spots and many unknown spots with his vast knowledge. He quickly developed relationships with the kids and adults, and everyone was comfortable asking questions and talking about the park, local economy, culture, plants, animals, and minerals. As a former guide myself, Chris was exemplary in his style, knowledge, and safety. I would use Yellowstone Guides anytime!
I have used Yellowstone Guidelines on two trips to Yellowstone 4 days in total. This guide service asked all the correct questions up front so we could plan how each day would be spent prior to our arrival. We had three different guides and all three were extremely knowledgeable. They were all easy going friendly knowledgeable and fun to be with. Our hikes were off the beaten path so we could see the parks without hundreds of people around. Lunch's provided were excellent filling healthy and energy focused foods. Once the hikes were complete they stayed with us to provided knowledge of the attraction closes as we made the most of day lite. I have recommended this company and still do today. They are true professionals with great attitudes and again are fun to be with.
My wife and I were a bit nervous to do our first backpacking trip but Yellowstone Guidelines was a perfect choice for us. Chris is a first-rate guide and made us feel very comfortable right from the beginning of the 4-day hike. He was happy to make vegetarian food for us and did a great job answering our many questions during the hike. We really couldn't have asked for a better guide and I'd definitely recommend Yellowstone Guidelines for any adventurer. We will certainly be going back to Chris when we're next in the park.
I visited that place years ago actually i was working there for few months. Started in July and finish late November. Place is absolutely breathtaking, views, wild life, everything is perfect:) If you have a car just go around the place and enjoy it, hiking is a must - nice people will help you with everything. ENJOY before it blow up !!! :)
My family, which included grandparents, parents and children (ages 19-23) spent a fabulous day with Holt, one of Yellowstone Guidelines tour guides. Holt picked us up at our condo in Big Sky and we spent a great day visiting the lower loop of yellowstone. Holt made it interesting for all three generations and included enough activity to satisfy the younger ones, while also giving the elders in the group a chance to rest and relax while enjoying the incredible views and sights of the park. Holt also provided a wonderful picnic lunch, even including a table cloth! By the end of the day, Holt had picked up on our family humor and fit right in with us. We highly recommend the Yellowstone Guidelines for a great day of learning and fun!
We had booked a Hike and Float Tour but due to snow the week before we were very disappointed to not be able to do the Whitewater rafting but the plus side was that our guide, Bryan, did a great job of showing us around Yellowstone and due to road closures we didn't have to travel as far to met our guide. Bryan met us at Tower-Roosevelt so we didn't need to get up as early or drive as far since we were staying at Old Faithful Inn and the road north to Mammoth Hot Springs was cut. We got to see many animals and birds plus hiked part of the Specimen Trail.
My brother and I visited yellowstone park in July 2014. Chris with Yellowstone guideline was our guide. We had a great time thanks to him.He is extremely pleasant and patient. He is very knowledgable with different aspects of the park . We saw many wild animals.I highly recommend him.
We have visited YNP nine times and we were looking to do something different this September trip. We had a party of 4. Chris took us on a great hike to Pebble Creek near the Northeast Entrance. Chris delivered with breathtaking views and a peaceful meadow. He was knowledgeable and steady with our different levels of hiking ability. On the way there, we got a couple of opportunities to see wolves and plenty of other wildlife. We plan to re-engage him the next time we return for yet another adventure in our favorite place on earth--Yellowstone.
