One of many churches to visit. Great example of Orthodox architecture, so go see it, you will like it!
Despite I was already bored with plenty of churches, I found it interesting and different from others in Lviv.
We found this place when were walking through sleeping kvartals. Against the background of dark sky The St.George Cathedral was "painted" with yellow and aquamarine lights. Among grey old and typical buildings this catholic complex had amazing look at night.
Cathedral of incredible beauty. Very energetic locality. Even a large number of tourists does not distract from contemplation of the cathedral.
This church is a must see for anyone visiting Lviv. Beautifully restored and inspiring interior. The gift shop should be visited if you want to purchase icons in the Eastern style.
Lviv is all about history and religion and the St. Yura Cathedral is the masterpiece of it. Hard to miss it, must to visit. Try to get there during the service, it's unforgettable.
Walking down Horodotska St, we decided to stop in the Cathedral. Well worth the uphill walk on snow. Inspiring and beautiful, inside and out.
I have watched the cathedral slowly being restored to its original magnificence since 1995 when I first visited. Architecturally, it is magnificent. Spiritually, it is the center of the Greek Catholic Church in western Ukraine. Celebrate Mass there, then stay around to absorb its history.
On a hill above the city center, this beautiful Baroque building is the seat of the Ukrainian Catholic Church. Spectacular outside and in, with a lot of history attached.
It is one of the largest and the most beautiful cathedrals in Lemberg. Built in barocco style, it is visited by lots of different people. Even if you're not the church-fan, I strongly advice you to visit this place. The location is also good - not far from the citycentre and the largest university of Lemberg.
