The pencil sharpener museum was written in all the books and ads for hocking hills so we thought we'd stop..........very cool! Everything from Jesus to a toilet!! Who knew! Stop and smile and take pictures!!!
Just a neat tiny place beside the visitor's center. We enjoyed this, and the visitor's center is very complete and a pretty place to stop and rest for a bit. No charge, but donations are accepted.
This fun little museum outside the doors of the Hocking Hills Visitor Center is worth a look. World's largest collection of nicely arranged, interesting pencil sharpeners.
We found the museum as we came out of the visitor's center at Logan, OH. It is a really small building but packed with pencil sharpeners. All colors, sizes, shapes, and different years. Never saw or heard of this before, so we thought we would check it out. The sharpeners were all sorted out on the shelves, even by holidays. Admission is free.
PAJ PAJ PAJ This is a PAJ place with a lot of PAJES in what an absolute LEDGE Paul A Johnson is a PAJ
It's what it says. Do u think this was exciting? U couldn't pay me to go back to this joint! It was the most boring experience of my life I tell you what.
Obviously this is not a destination you would hop a plane to go see. However if you are in the area you have to stop in to see it. It is a little one room display of many hundreds of pencil sharpeners....what else can you say. I went in out of curiosity and spent 15 minutes or so looking at the collection. It is near the information and Visitors Center so it is convenient. Interesting and quaint.
Awesome collection of pencil sharpeners. Must be a few hundred, maybe a thousand. All kinds all styles. All free for the gandering, gawking or one's personal amazement. Located at the Hocking Hills Visitor Center. A must stop if you are in the area.
I couldn't believe there is a pencil sharpener museum. If you're at the visitor center - stop and look. I wouldn't make a special trip though.
We stopped at the Hocking Hills Visitors Center and found this little place by accident. It was free to enter and holds an interesting collection of pencil sharpeners of all types. Neat to look at, spent about 10 minutes here.
