We had a lovely guided tour on the estate. We saw young bulls, pigs, horses, ... All involved with breeding fighting bulls. The owner showed us the grounds, stables, and gave us a taste of rural spain. The owners dog was a big attraction getting bulls to run around whilst the owner was semi fighting on a horseback. The guided tour was excellent. We learnt a lot about bull fighting in spain and we do not find it so cruel now. A great experience
Like others, I have no desire to see a bull fight. However, I think to have any understanding of the Spanish culture, one needs to attempt to see this "art" through their eyes. These animals, cattle and horses, are loved and well cared for. The guide and owner were incredibly gracious. I am so glad we went, even paying for the taxi to take us from Ronda. There were only four of us on the tour, while we saw hundreds of people touring the empty bullring in Ronda. Like most things, the roads less traveled are the most unique and interesting.
We went there in mid June. We absolutely love it. Not that we are big fan of bull fighting, however, the tour gave us a glimpse of the other side of the chain which we find very interesting. Apart from learning a few new things, we love the animals, in particular, some of the horses, Rocky, and Pimiento!
Beautiful place. A lot of good history. Great displays. Get the listening device to direct you and teach you what you are seeing. Very much worth it. Plan to spend more than an hour.
We loved this place. Cost is 25 Euros pp. See fighting Bulls and Andalucian Horses in their natural environments. Learn about how the Bulls are raised, prepared and tested. Several opportunities to see them up close. Amazingly powerful and beautiful animals. We also loved the horses running around the ring set to Spanish music. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
An extremely clean and well kept farm where we were able to see many bulls and beautiful thoroughbred horses. We started walking which was a wonderful way to be close to the animals in their beautiful natural setting. Unfortunately it began to rain heavily and we finished the tour by bus. Once inside we saw a demonstration of bull fighting techniques and had a chance to handle the capes that are used. We learned about the training process for the matador ( 5 hours a day with extremely heavy capes). We also learned about the horses used by the picadors. In another building we saw models of famous bull fighting rings constructed of cork. Rafael the bullfighter was charming and informative. He showed a side to bullfighting culture in Spain that we had never thought existed..one of love and compassion. While I still would not feel comfortable seeing a bull killed in the ring with the crowd cheering, I was glad to see the care given to the breeding and care of these magnificent creatures while living here. As part of a tour group of 14 we were served an excellent lunch of traditional food. We enjoyed every moment of this tour
What an amazing experience to visit this 500 acre bull breeding farm. I had declined the opportunity to attend a bullfight but now have a better understanding of the culture. We learned about the breeding of the bulls. The horses, pigs and cows live in the most wonderful environment where acorns serve as a primary source of food. Our guide was extraordinarily knowledgable and personable as she explained the life cycle of the animals and this pesticide free preserve. This is one of the major highlights of our trip to Spain. A peaceful day.

This is a def must see. Allow a whole day to visit all the sights in Ronda and google it before you go so you know what you want to do. Will def come back and visit the places we didn't have time for
Yesterday, through the tourist information office, we met Gloria and went with her to a bull and horse ranch just outside of Ronda. It was a great activity. In addition to touring the farm, we met the owner Rafael Tejada as well as the main person for raising and training the Bulls and horses used in bull fighting. I highly recommend this outing to anyone who has more than a couple of days visiting the area.
