Wonderful cellar door staff friendly and so knowledgeable, met the winemaker who explained the biodynamics of the wines, then sat on the veranda and had a complimentary glass of wine with the bleats of sheep and barks of dogs in the background 'made us homesick' it was off the beaten track just how we like it well worth the long drive in absolutely awesome wines an reasonably priced too, a true boutique winery with passion

In so far that I can tell this is the only winery tour in California that involves four-wheeling in an Austrian Pinzgauer. This alone makes it awesome. However the wine and the staff are fabulous as as well. Some of the best in California. Worth the drive and is a refreshing break from mono-culture of Napa valley wineries.
