Thank you for your comments regarding your visit at our site. Our interpreters are all of Acadian descent and have a lot of pride in their culture and really want to share this with the visitors. There is a tragic period in our history, but the Village shows how they overcame this tragedy and how the culture is still alive and well, even to this day.

I would like to thank you for your review of our site. Other visitors have said the same thing regarding the relaxed atmosphere and we certainly do our best to make you feel at home. Our café is not a full service restaurant, but it is open on weekdays(Monday - Friday) from 11:30AM to 3:00PM and it is a lunch counter type facility. We focus on serving soups, rappie pie, sandwiches and desserts, all made fresh daily, mostly using traditional Acadian recipes.
I want to thank you for your review of our site. As you said, we do have some umbrellas that we give the visitors while they are touring the site on a rainy day. We are a living history site so the more interaction that we can have with the visitor, it will result in a better understanding and appreciation of the Acadians in the early 1900,s.

I wish to thank you for your comments regarding your visit to our site. As you said, we are a small living history village, compared to say the Fortress of Louisbourg in Nova Scotia or the Acaian Village in New Brunswick, but we do have enough infrastructure to present the life of the Acadians of the eaqrly 1900,s. Our strength is the way we interact with the visitor in converstions or demonstrations so that they will get a better understanding and appreciation of the way of life of the Acadians of yesteryear.
