Beautiful walking tracks through shady trees in a very hot climate...a true oasis and now 24 hour stays are allowed there for caravans etc. good on you Rocky council.
Liked the access, selection of trees, parking space, and variety.Did not like the level of mosquitos with no warning for the travellers to be equipped, abulution facility is rather poor, utilisation of this place from local council is questionable . It seems local council is very laid back to lift the image of such lovely garden with lots of effort being done to develop it. Did not like lack of light when it is dark and chance of snake on path way is a possibility.
The kershaw gardens is a nice place to go whether you are alone or with your family. Nice peaceful paths to walk through and playgrounds at each end for kids. great bike riding paths for the younger kids too
nice place for lunch and families taking time out, kids love it here, places for them to play, playground is nice and safe, I would recommend this for families
Another lovely place to spend outdoors. spacious and areas to hide especially young children. The waterfall or lagoon is a time to look at the odd duck or two or other wildlife. Toilet facilities are quite good as well.
Wonderful parklands with so many different parts. Playgrounds for children, waterfalls, picnic areas. Several carparks and entrances.
Worth a walk around. Surprising large area with plenty to see. There were lots of birds to photograph. The history of the site was payed out on information boards , which was interesting.
Very pretty gardens, lots of shady paths to stroll along with fountains, waterfall and play area.My only grumble would be the two disgusting portaloos - such a pretty place deserves a proper toilet facility.
Recently took my son here bike riding and the gardens are beautiful. We stopped at the section where there are lots of herbs and plants they encourage you to smell and my son enjoyed the experience. There are multiple play areas along the way and lots of walking tracks. Be sure to pack insect repellent and pack your own picnic lunch. At night the waterfall lights up and there are seats where you can sit and eat whilst gazing at it. A beautiful day out that costs nothing.
Have you ever watched Jurassic Park 2? I have, it's a poor sequel. Kershaw Gardens is not a lot like Jurassic Park 2, or probably even the other Jurassic Park installments although I did think about Jurassic Park while I was there. There's a nice waterfall at Kershaw Gardens, worth a bit of a poke around. When I left I found there was a mystery bug on my shoe but it could well have been from anywhere else I'd been earlier that day. Positive experience.
