my favourite park in Aregentina so far! beautiful lake and archways. you can also rent pedalos! its at the end of av. orono which is a lovely wlk up from the river in itself.
In the center of the town it is worth to take a nice and slow walk around (in the afternoon or evening) - and of course visit the Museum of "Belas Artes".
it's not a coincidence that its Lay Out was drawn by the same family that worked in Royal French Gardens
We visited with our 3 dogs and enjoyed a nice walk. It's pretty big with a variety of food vendors, great photo spots, paddle boating, clean restrooms, and a playground. We enjoyed visiting.
This large park is worth the time. You can do many things. Ride a boat on the lake, watch a football (soccer) game on Sunday afternoon or just stroll around! There is also a nice botanical garden in the park! I spend at least two hours there and had a lot of fun watching the local people enjoying it with their families!
HUUUUGE park with two museums (Fine Arts and History). Lake with paddle boats and entertainment for kids. Also the football stadium is interesting to see.
It’s a huge park at the end of La Rambla boulevard. We walked from the river up the boulevard to the park (about 15 blocks). It’s an interesting walk. When we came to the park we found a group practising Thai Chi, a piece of drift wood and some interesting wood carvings on dead trees (see my photos). Unfortunately we didn’t have the time to walk the whole park… just a small section of it, but I can imagine one could spend the whole day here, it is so large.
we spent the whole day walking through the entire park. it was beautiful. well worht the time. The lake area was beautiful and there are small boats you can rent to enjoy it. the rose garden was very nice, with beautiful spanish tile areas.
I was expecting a lot more of this park... But actually there is just grass and buildings... Not even a few flowers, quite disapointing
Large park, some interesting trees, particularly the one with the large white balls of cotton! (Sorry, don't know it's name). The smallish display board with photos and facts about Che we found interesting, and it was one of the few public displays we found about this famous son of Rosario.
