I went to Rosario with my new wife, she was born there. I really enjoyed our visit to the Flag tribute and the nearby park on the River where we took the boat cruise up the river to the Florida Bridge and past the beautiful Beaches. I had the best Sausage Wedge, "Churi Gol or Churi Pan" That I have ever eaten from a sidwalk vender at the Beach Walkway. I found that everyone I met was very cordial. I plan on returning to this area again for three months, July to October. I hope it's not to cold because I'm accustomed to the souther California weather. I have not included photos because i didn't realize I would be sending this but I will have photos when I return from this vacation.
If you pass by this city in summer you can't miss the main beach: La Florida. Located almost on the northest part of the city it is actually pretty easy to go to this place. Here you can have some drinks at the bars, rent a canvas chair, swim in the river, have a sunbath and of course enjoy the awesome sight the place has to offer. But the sight is not only about water and islands, besides the overwhelming Rosario-Victoria Bridge you can always take a chance on the most beautiful girls in the whole country. I'm talking, of course, about the Rosarinas. They are pretty outgoing and you are can be sure to see them again that night partying in a club.
es el lugar que muchas personas envidian por tenerla en la ciudad. a menos de 30 minutos del centro de rosario. ofrece rio y servicio de sillas. el precio es accesible.
to spend the day in Rosario, it's not a sea beach or a great infrastructure, but still worth it, mainly for de vibes ;)
I was in Rosario for the Easter holiday. La Florida is a beach place. This is a so so beach with not clean water. Compare the beaches I have been visited, it is not even the average. But it is nice atmosphere with local people around . A good place to run away from the busy City of Buenos Aires. Nice sunshine to get tanned.
Its not the ocean but if you don't want to make the drive to the ocean then La Florida will do. Typical man made beach along the river.
This is a great area of Rosario where you can enjoy the river and great bars, clubs and restaurants. It is know as a beach but it's not a beach in the sense that is not on the ocean, but it is a great river front area (Riviera) with a large sandy beach where you can enjoy the sun (During summer months) and if you like to swim in rivers it's not bad but you will see brown water and the occasional piranha. It is frequented very heavily by the locals during the summer months and it is full of families and young people making it an enjoyable place to spend an afternoon. Even if you are like me and do not enjoy swimming in a dirty (By heavy sediments from a large river not by pollution) river, I still recommend a visit to the area, you will enjoy its great setting and warmth. There is also many local restaurants serving great local fresh water fish dishes, I recommend "Boga a la Parrilla"
This fine sandy beach is worth visiting on a hot day in season; out of season nothing is open but the entrance is free.
The beach and the river in La Florida are great.. There are lots of places to buy food and it's full with families and young people (in summer, of course!). I loved the river, the water wasn't cold at all!
This river beach is completely different to someelse i saw before
