This was the first place we went to so we could decide the best places to visit. The staff was very friendly and helpfull.
Definitely a great spot for info! Very helpful staff Great stop for tourist pamphlets. Nice and clean. Great map of town
The lady that helped us was extremely pleasant and helpful. She was very friendly and she gave our granddaughter a tiny alien figure as a souvenir for our trip to Roswell. Our granddaughter was thrilled. She was a very knowledgeable also.
I am an experienced traveler and often visit the visitor's center as a way to get the most out of my visit to a city. I was disappointed with the Roswell Visitor's Center. There was very little info on Roswell and they did not even have a state map of New Mexico. . . . which I would consider standard equipment.
There's always something to do here. Check out the local artists, kid activities and unique to Roswell things to do.
The mailbox was the cutest mailbox ever or R2D2 other than that- no staff. After hanging around for quite some time I found someone to answer a few questions. She directed me on a short walk to the museum across the way telling me it was opened (did not open for over two hours). Could have been a better representation for the community!
Yes, they have some pamphlets (mostly for other towns) but the girl working was no help. She didn't know where Area 51 was or where the crash site is located. She said she grew up here too! They need more knowledgable help. I'm sure we weren't the first ones to ask for those directions.
Stop in and see the friendly and helpful folks here. They're glad when you do and have lots of info to share. Pick up brochures and coupons.
This is a good first stop for your first time in Roswell. there is a small booth that contains 2 of those racks of brochures that you see at every motel and restaurant, and then 2 desks where the ladies offer you a map of the city with the restaurants and attractions. The attractions are highlighted and numbered and tells you which ones are free. So, this makes the stop worthwhile. We then asked them where the McDonald's was. Turns out, it is just 100 yards away. If you have little kids, you must take them there.
We stopped in here to find out more information about the area. The woman at the desk didn't seem too interested in helping us. Oh well - we figured it out ourselves.
