The staff at Noisy Water Winery was just amazing. Friendly and helpful, the oxygen bar that they offer really helped my brother-in-law feel better. They also offer free wine and cheese tasting. It is a really nifty little shop. I recommend a visit!
My husband and I went in and I did a wine tasting. The guy working was a sweetheart and fun; wish I would have gotten his name. We talked for a bit about ourselves and it's always nice to hear stories. The lady working was very friendly and funny. Wine is pretty good. I enjoyed the green chile wine and the moscato. Would definitely go back again. Fun experience!
We loved this place and their other tasting room down the street. Highly recommend this place. A must stop on your trip in Ruidoso. Staff is very friendly and knowledgable. They have amazing gourmet cheeses and pistachios. They have a good variety of sweet and dry wines. Our favorite was the Joe Mamma Red!
We love to stop by the Noisy water winery to pick up some of our favorites! They also have some outstanding cheeses and pistachios. The staff is always very friendly as well.
There is always a new batch of wines to try. We always stop by and taste their wines, cheeses and shop for unique items.
We stopped in after seeing a sign advertising wine and cheese tasting. The staff was super knowledgeable and friendly. The woman who gave us our wine gave a complete and thorough rundown of each that we tasted, she was a joy to listen to! The green chile wine was a complete surprise! It smells like perfectly roasted Hatch green chile but isn't overpowering. It is beautifully green like absinthe! We moved onto the cheese. Unfortunately they were out of some of the more "exotic" flavors but we were able to try some aged cheddars (to die for) and ghost pepper cheeses. Delicious. We bought a bottle of "Hab's Cab" and enjoyed it that night! I saw in another review that the tasting is free but it is $5. Worth it. The shop also has a lot of fun things, a lot of it wine/cheese themed. If you want, you can sit and have a glass of wine in the back as well.
Great place to hang out and try an assortment of wines. Some were good, some were not so good. But that was the beauty of the wine tasting! There were also cheeses offered and a gift shop up front.
This store has something for everything. We stopped in for the wine tastings. They were really busy, but the staff took time to spend with us describing the wines. I enjoyed trying the green chile wine. This is definitely a store you should visit.
This winery has 2 stores in Ruidoso..both have fantastic selections to do wine tastings. ( I did tastings at both stores and all were very good! One is $5 and the other is $10 for the signature wines) Don't miss out on tasting the Besito Calliente wine! This fun wine is not hot, but you can definitely taste the infused chile peppers .Great summer wine or with Mexican food!! They also sell yummy cheeses, olive oils (try the bacon flavor!) and balsamic vinegars plus gifts too! Super friendly and helpful staff. There is also an oxygen bar you can purchase from in the larger store, but we didn't try that.
Green Chile Wine. I love to experiment with new wines, and this sounded really interesting. We had to wade through 6 different samples to get the GCW. Most of them were pretty good but not great. The GCW is a cheap white wine "infused" with chili's. Just a little bit of a bite at the end. So it's not hot.
