Beautiful lights worth seeing, tickets should be more like $5 for how short the walk is. Parking is difficult because they say the lot is full however we saw many spots. We parked at a business next door.
I, and thousands attended the annual Christmas light display at the Gardens. Although the forecast of good weather was evident, the good people of the Gardens didn't think thousands of people would show up for this beautiful, annual display. I have to give credit to the very patient crowd for their behavior, which could have turned ugly. All night, I think I saw maybe six volunteers for the whole display. There were droves of people in the wrong lines and limited direction from the few brave volunteers. I'm not blaming the volunteers, I am, however blaming the planners for their lack of fore site when wage earners could have been hired, even at the last minute to help guide the crowds. Poor planning
It was amazing to see the beautiful Christmas lights. You can either take a horse and wagon ride or walk. Something everyone should see.
This is one of the best botanical gardens we have ever seen. It is very well maintained and beautiful. We've brought guests from big cities who were impressed by the beauty of it. THere is a children's area so something for the whole family.
Christmas Light display was nice - easy to walk through or horse drawn wagon rides offered. Drinks & light snacks offered inside to warm up.
Highly recommend the Garden of Lights show in the winter. Makes for a great date night or night out with the kids. Staff of volunteers are always so friendly.
We were married at the Green Bay Botanical Gardens in June 2005. We had our ceremony in The Kaftan Lusthaus & pictures through out the gardens after, it was perfect, some of our guests went for walks after the pictures. The weather was great and the gardens were absolutely beautiful. We have visited the gardens a few times since then and we always reminiscence about that day, we have the best memories, even our guests still remember what a beautiful place this was. The staff take such nice care of the gardens and we highly recommend you consider your wedding there.
My wife and I always enjoy the leisurely walk through the botannical gardens in summer. The various sculptures are skillfully blended within the gardens to create and enchanting and beautiful vista. Then in the winter we enjoy the spectacle of lights and riding the horse-drawn wagon through the park. Our grandchildren especially enjoy the lights strung in the trees and picking out new favorites every year.
its very nicely kept up. With lots of trails to walk and see many different types of plants. Really is good to go in the spring and summer months. They keep adding new areas eveytime I go back.
The gardens have ever changing flowers and other plantings. Christmas time brings the creation of the Garden of Lights, an extensive light display. Walk or take a wagon ride through the gardens. In summer there are classes for families and individuals on garden, cooking and some photography.
