lovely little walk around :) plenty of animals to see , well recommended.took us about an hour , depends on what you like to look and for how long.
This place is fantastic. Iv seen first hand with the staff the hard work that goes into feeding and cleaning out enclosures. The fish that the seals eat all have vitamins placed in the gills to supplement the seals diets. Different types of fish ensure a balanced diet. I fed the birds. Meerkats and goats and cleaned out enclosures. I fed the monkey's and loved seeing the guests interacting with the staff. The whole day was satisfying and exhausting. I was the first to do a keeper experience i was told and i was very well looked after. The seals were my favourite. They were so full of character. I hand fed the residents and i gave children fish to throw into another seal enclosure. They loved being part of a feeding session. I cant thank the team enough for making me feel so welcome. They deserve a visit i highly recommend! Emma
We went for the afternoon good value for money and lots of different things to see and do all so can join in feeding times not a big place but really nice for 2 -3 hours
Easy to park. Near the beach. Lots of different animals as well as seals. All looked after very well. Also a shop and cafeteria. Suitable for wheelchairs. Seeting outside for the people who need a seat now and then, also for eating.
We thought the sanctuary would just be seals but there are other animals too! We took our Granddaughter and she loved it. The monkeys were very entertaining and the meercats were obviously a great hit. The exhibitions were interesting with a walk through Lincolnshire's history. The staff do a great job looking after the seals.
The people here are doing a fantastic job. Show them your support when in the area. Great entertainment for both adults and children for a minimal cost
Much better than expected and far more to see than seals, although these were very interesting to watch. Plenty to see for all ages and lots of variety and interest. Grandchildren and us enjoyed the event
Love this place and the staff do terrific work. Well worth a visit not just to see the seals but all the other animals there.
I was expecting just seals.... Oh my life. There are birds, monkeys, penguins, guinea pig etc etc etc loads of different animals. Ok cafe and little gift shop. Felt a bit ripped off having to pay for parking but overall a good day
I live within 14 miles of this place and have known about it for some time and never bothered to visit. Today, along with my friend and two nine year old girls, we paid a visit. Approaching the entrance I commented on the cost of admission....thought it was a bit expensive just to go and see some seals.I take it all back. It isn't just seals (and they were a wonderful sight) it was a menagerie to behold. The children were enthralled and I have to admit, so were the adults. The whole place is well built, the pens/cages/pools were well maintained and the occupants obviously happy in their environment. The staff were helpful and answered the many questions posed bu the children.I would recommend that you make a point of visiting this wonderful oasis and in doing so, helping to fund the work which helps the seals back to full health and in time, enables their release back into the sea where nature intended them to be.You will not be disappointed/
