The projection might get you dizzy because it's a planetarium but just close your eyes and count to 5, you must be fine then.
I visit this place and it was wondergful!! I saw a movie and the tour guide explain everything to me it was magnifique!
The kids really enjoyed it so we did. In our limited Spanish we understood most. The exhibits are written in Emglish but the dome is all in Spanish. It was a pretty good display and not too expensive. Will go back again.
The art it's beautiful , the surrounding so good, the vendors every where are so pushy I can't wait to get out of there ...that's to bad
Amazing building and captivating movie exhibitions. Very comfortable seating, well organized processes and timely.
Attended the show that displayed the night sky corresponding to that same night and it was beautiful. Theatre is brand new and narration is done by a real expert.
Really fun visit. Combined with the Parque Explora this makes a great day out. Lots of fun interactive exhibits, a nice cafe, and interesting gift shop. Only issue is the show is all in Spanish, so bear that in mind.
On Friday January 16 2015 we took the Poblado Metro and stopped to Acevedo Station , in there we took the Cable in direction to Santo Domingo up to hill and returning to University Station using the Metro. In there we spend the whole day in Explora-Aquarium and Planetarium Park. My family enjoyed so much since it was allowed them to interact with the different artifacts designed for general public purposes.
We just popped in to the exhibitions as the dome was under construction when we visited. The exhibitions would be great for kids and teens, it is not huge but is not a bad way to spend an hour. If the dome was open I imagine my rating would be different.
It is a very interesting building, worth a visit, just next to the bothanical garden. The coffe place in it is also very good, and worth relaxing and grabbing a bite.
