The valley really doesn't have any museums that can compare to the big city museums but most of them are still a lot of fun. IMAS is one of the nicest. It is the best for art. My wife and i enjoy the art exhibits a lot. they have two or three large exhibits. also they always have a large center exhibit that changes every so often. the best thing about the museum is the events. lots of kids events and art events. i'd suggest checking their website and calender before going. Its a great place
This museum has a great hands on area for the kids. Our boys (11,& 8) love visiting this museum. There is usually have an additional temporary exhibit (for an extra fee) that will allow your experience to be even more fun. After visiting all the displays, be sure to take the kids out to the fenced in kids area outside. Our boys usually spend plenty of time out there running around, climbing, and laughing. There's picnic tables outside to enjoy a light snack and allow the kids to play.
Even through we are grandparents, we enjoy the musical wall and craft area which is suppose to be for children. The Science on a Schere where one can learn all about the earth. The great hall of Tiffany Stained Glass Windows is marvelous!
Okay for a small community and had some interesting sculpture, an artist's show of painting but not other art collections
The IMAS has wonderful activities and sights for children of all ages. They have a science lab, a "water" lab, an astronomy room, a puppet theater, a playground and various exhibits that will amaze and awe kids. It's a nice place to spend the day.
That's Science on a Sphere. An interesting visual way to learn about our world. Lots of fun for kids with a 'hands on' area, too.
Not a world class museum, but a good local attraction oriented towards the kids. Reasonable prices to enter and educational. Will keep you interested and fun for a couple of hours. Recommended.
This is one of the smallest museums ever and was kinda boring after ten minutes but it is in edinburg where everything is boring and small
My daughter went to a day camp here and loved the experience. Great educational activity for the long summer days.
This is slightly publicized wrongly. The science aspect is mainly focused on children with no real information. The art section was displayed well but not over impressive. You can skip this place
