You might be put off by the name thinking it is a fusty collection of arcane collectibles. Don't be! This is a wonderful collection of glass, furniture, art and china - all set out in a beautifully restored house and charmingly curated for us by one of the (English) owners. An absolute delight.
Guide system was nice. I went to there for just interest, but I wasn't impressed that much. But still stained glass were so beautiful and it was interesting look around the traditional house of the Spain.
Really enjoyed being shown around by the owner. He was so passionate about the glass and his home.Spent an hour and a half going round the museum with him.Definitely worth a visit!
Probably not suited to younger children. A one-off private collection where the owner shows you round. Lovely building.
Fantastic visit to this museum with a wonderful presentation from one of the owners of this beautiful collection in a fantastic restored house .
Listen and enjoy some interesting tales from the owner of this personal and private collection of glassware. Worth a visit!
Really lovely displays of glass and crystal down the ages, and the guided tour in English is very educating.
Great residence with beautiful collection. Something unique :)And the Guide! Interesting stories, you could see real passion!
The building itself is worth a visit. There is also a delightful, knowledgeable, guide who is friendly and has a good sense of humor. Plus the subject matter is very interesting. Add this all up and you'll have a unique time.
We were very fortunate to have the owner of this private collection guide us through his magnificent home. Every room is adorned with stained glass windows, antique furniture, paintings and, most importantly, breathtaking glassware and ceramics. The owner oozes enthusiasm and passion for his collection and conveys that to his guests, for that is what we are, in a warm and friendly manner that makes him both easy and interesting to listen to. Almost every piece of glassware has a story attached and the passion with which the owner conveys the story is very infectious. The tour took around 2 hours but the time went so quickly we hardly noticed the time going. This is a definite MUST to visit. It is off the normal beaten tourist track but well worth the short walk from the Plaza de la Merced. The entrance fee is minimal (€5 or €3 for concessions) and believe me it is worth every cent...and more.Unmissable.
