It is hard to believe that this pleasant park is being reviewed. I go by it every day and appreciate the fact that there is a park nestled in the middle of suburbia. As a battlefield it is badly named. The rebel troops were caught unawares at night and then slaughtered by the British. For propaganda purposes the rebels trumpeted this as a battle emphasizing the horribleness of the Brits who caught our troops unawares. That's what you are supposed to do in war. There is one trouble here: the battlefield is not in Paoli but in Malvern. If you want a pleasant place to have a picnic and look at monuments go to this NICE PARK
After driving by the site a couple times we ended having to ask for directions. We found the marker and that was that.
some interesting historical markers educate as to the part this park played in the nations history. There's an easy paved loop, a field loop, and a mixed field/wooded loop. There's also an adjacent baseball field. Located in a residential neighborhood, this park is safe and clean with blend of open and defined space.
