My family and I recently travelled around California and made a visit to Yosemite Ziplines and Adventure Ranch - what an amazing experience! The zip lines were thrilling and fun for both my adrenaline junkie brother and my usually-not-so-keen parents, the surrounding views were spectacular and the guides were super friendly, accommodating and professional - they also kindly provided us with bottles of water to help with the hot Californian sun. A really entertaining and exciting activity to do in such a beautiful, scenic part of California. Definitely recommend you visit here!
We booked into this at the last minute and were lucky enough to have a private tour for our group of two. The guides new their stuff, both in terms of safety and local history. It was a lot of fun and I would recommend it.
Our family really liked this. There were 7 ziplines in this tour with different lenghts and hights. Even people with fear of hights might be able to do this. The guides are very friendly and make sure that everyone feels comfortable. The ages of the people in our group ranged from approx 10 to 70, so if you are halfway fit you wil have fun zipping.
We visited as a family of four, and were fortunate enough to be a party on our own. The attention from the two guides (Paige, Tyler) was both professional and entertaining. The day went more quickly than we would have liked, because once you start ziplining, you want to keep going. Our teenage sons also took in the high ropes course, which they enjoyed even more than the ziplines.
You got children, are you still young at heart? You should do some ziplines. Go ahead, treat yourself, this is pure fun, even on the hottest of hot days like we had.
This was my 3rd time to YZA. Love the ground to ground landings and that you don't have to climb up platforms to get the height. The mountains do the height for you! The owners kids counted down our take off on the racing lines! So freaking cute. The price is extremely reasonable for how much ziplining is at other locations. Plus they have a number of lines to go on.
Jason and Ryland were our "tour guides" and they did great! Funny, personable, and professional. The course is fun and very structured. I would recommend this course to anyone in the area! If I ever make it back to this side of the country I will be sure to visit again!
Our first time ziplining and couldn't ask for a better experience. The tour guides make it even more fun! We had "Draggin'" and "Honey Badger" as our guides and these guys were seriously awesome! They were personable, friendly, and entertaining, as well as being very knowledgeable about the history of the area. They made us first-timers feel comfortable and relaxed and made the whole experience enjoyable! Give these guys a raise! As far as the actual ziplining goes, it was incredibly fun! You start off slow with one of the shorter, smaller lines and gradually increase in height and length, but it never feels dangerous or scary. These guys take their safety seriously and I never felt like I was in any danger of falling out of my harness or off a line. There are short walks or drives to each line and water was provided to us all (it was a very hot, hot day!). Prices were reasonable and we had no problem getting a reservation in short notice. Definitely worth it for a couple of hours of great fun!
We had a great time at YZA on our way from Yosemite back to San Francisco on family vacation. The Guides are great, and the equipment is great, so I had total confidence in the outing. Great times were had by all.
Having been to Yosemite many times we were looking for something new to do. Ziplining was just the ticket. It was the highlight of the trip for tweens and adults alike. The guides were very good. Highly recommend doing this.
