This is the part of the Mara that is home to the most exciting of the wildlife -- numerous cheetahs , lions and leopard . A must "do 2" area
i think this is the best place to go. all the wildlife you want, managed better than some parts of the mara, as there are no cattle around
An amazing place. Full of a great variety of animal and bird species. We saw all 3 prides of lions, and the other Big 4. We were also so very lucky to see a Leopard defending its kill up a tree against a Hyena. Watching Zebra and Giraffe crossing the Masai Mara river was truly wonderful. An absolutely amazing experience!!
So many animals, three prides of lion and hundreds of wildebeest and zebra. Not so many giraffe these days and elephants not as numerous. Did not like approach coming low flying in. Lots of new fencing going up. Many confused animals whose migration was blocked. Please do not let this happen. The Mara Triangle is a special place on our earth and one of Kenya's treasures.
very clean environment filled with all sorts of wild animals and birds. this place is 'a must go back'
Kenya is a beautiful and diverse country. The Masai people were friendly and welcoming and it was lovely to visit some villages and been welcomed as family. The wildlife, obviously, is spectacular and there are plenty of opportunities to see all the big 5 and lots more!
The Mara Triangle is managed by what the Kenyans call a "Muzungu" - white person not by Narok County Council as is the rest of the park (excepting the conservancies). Because of this it is greener and has more wildlife, especially elephants, than anywhere else in The Mara. If you are within reach of it or even prefer to stay inside it - it is something that you will never forget and should attempt to ask your safari guide to take you too.
Loved the drive early morning but disliked getting stuck in the mad if it does rain just crazy my worry
Having our picnic lunch at the beautiful place felt so refreshing. I loved the way the monkeys stole food from people. The beautiful colored lizard couldn't pass without notice. Oh, the KWS guys in this place are so friendly and ready to answer questions. Kudos to them
The Mara Triangle is adjacent to Masai Mara National Reserve and is endowed with many animal species. The conservancy is well run, managed and organized. Saw various animal species within our first game drive session. At the end of the stay saw all the big five species and more than anticipated.
