The Cheese Lady shop carries lots of different cheeses for all tastes. By far the best. Not grocery style. They let you sample before buying. The ultimate in cheese buying in the area.
A true cheese monger. So many amazing cheeses from around the world. Staff that is very knowledgeable and yet very friendly and not stuffy.
We stopped into the shop just to browse and came away with the makings for a few picnic lunches (we were camping at Muskegon State Park so this was a perfect find for us).The shop is more of a specialty grocer than just a cheese shop. Everything is top quality and the prices are reasonable for what you're getting (they would be higher in most places). This is a great locally owned shop. I wish we had this exact store in my hometown--I'd love to shop here on a regular basis.
My first memory of 'The Cheese Lady' was at the farmer's market in Muskegon. Since then, they have moved to a store near Historic Downtown Muskegon. Not only do they have cheese, but also flavored oils for cooking and dressings, meats, crackers... A small grocery really with all the things you'd think you have to go to the big city for.Stop in and say hi, the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. A gem
Very knowledgeable and helpful staff, always willing to take their time to give samples and ask questions. The best cheese in the Midwest! Good wine selections and the oil and vinegar shop next door is something to savor!
Very helpful staff with picking out cheeses and sampling them before you buy. A neat place with a nearby location at the great Farmer's Market also.
