  After having such a wonderful time at the Blissfield Murder Mystery Train, I was so looking forward to spending New Years Eve at a Murder production in Maumee, Ohio. My husband & I dressed for the theme but everything fell short of our expectations. First of all with the table arrangement we couldn't see the actors at all during the "murder phase" because of where they were performing (I finally mentioned it to them to move to the other side of the room so we could all see!) There seemed to be too few actors for the large room and you didn't feel connected to the play most of the time. Actually there didn't seem to really be a play going on. The food was not good. It was brought in as they had no kitchen upstairs in Langley Hall. The fetucinni was way over cooked, gummy, dry & tasteless and the meatloaf with a spoonful of corn very small portion. The salad had whole baby carrots (??) with bagged greens and a huge slice of onion. I am not exaggerating! The only thing that was enjoyable was the 12 yr old young man attending with his Mom - quite the smart little gentlemen who figured out the murder - and to see him beam with delight and be presented with the certificate brought us smiles. The murder mystery company took your photo when you arrived, 2 of each couple, plus photos throughout the evening - after several weeks finally sent an email that they were posted, on FACEBOOK and of the scores of events I never did find ours. For the price of the evening it was a disappointment -Glad we had the other experience to treasure.
