We visited here and tried the beer selection. We enjoyed the beers but found the wheat beer/ginger mix not to our taste and the ginger beer likewise.
Came here for a brilliant lunch as well! The wine selection was varied, tasty and well priced. Nice selection of beer as well. The girls running the tastings were lovely. Would love to go back!!
We stopped by for a light lunch today. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff very friendly. I desperately wanted to try an anti-pasta platter, and was disappointed that they only serve platters to share. So I settled for a lemon tart which was lovely and light. One of our party ordered the Eton Mess, also delicious and the third member of our party ordered the salt and pepper squid, which was average, but not exceptional. The ginger beer was sugary sweet. Lovely atmosphere but not sure if we will rush back.
We stopped in here for a wine tasting whilst in Mclaren Vale. The wine tasting area is set up within a bar and as we went late afternoon there were lots of intoxicated and rowdy patrons already there. The lady serving us was very friendly and enthusiastic and did apologise at one point. The wine was average and the setting is not the most pleasant. The bar area did look good fun though, so visiting for a beer would probably be better.
Great wines, interesting ales & friendly, knowledgeable staff made for a really nice wine tasting experience. Views & dining area looked very inviting to sit & stay for a few hours.
We ate here for dinner recently, and it was outstanding. Friendly helpful staff, amazing local produced beers and wines, and our food was delicious. A very enjoyable experience in a great atmosphere. Try the dark ale, one of the best!
Highly advise this place, the service is just as good as the food! I love the change of menu each season never disappointed
really nice spot and great service. The food was really beautiful but for me the wines were just average nice.
wine was fantastic. My husband had a beer selection which was really good. Food platters were amazing
during so much wine tasting it was truly refreshing to come across a winery that also produced an exciting range of beers.I was impressed with the wheat beer and the ginger beer and was truly surprised with the 50/50 mix of the two.
