If you are doing a tour of Southern Oregon and/or Jacksonville & Ashalnd...you should put this on your list. Great location, grreat views and even better wine. Try the wood fired Pizza...it's outstanding......no excuses...GO THERE!
I am almost afraid to rate because I may not find a table next time! What a great place to end the day good wince great pie! Was recommended by magnolia inn and I am happy I took the advice! Beautiful view of the valley cute koi ponds and talc service from Dan and Cindy Thank you for a great end of the weekend!
Thanks for taking the time to write your review of DANCIN regarding your visit in November. It is my sincere desire to extend a memorable level of hospitality to you and on the day you visited, I obviously didn’t meet your expectations or mine. We’d appreciate another opportunity to serve you again at some point in the future!
Dancin Winery is just outside historic Jacksonville on a gorgeous slope of land. We only stopped for lunch, but thoroughly enjoyed the grounds and outdoor seating. The menu is simple , but wonderfully satisfying. They specialize in artisan pizzas, but don't miss the mushrooms stuffed with Italian sausage and cheese topped with a Chardonnay sauce and reduced balsamic. Although we drove here, I would imagine it in the summer being a fantasy place to stop while cycling the region.
My wife and I were looking for winery, we were visting family(we are from Bakersfield,Ca) found Dancin Vineyards, meet the owner Dan and his spouse Cindy. The whole staff was fantastic along with the wine and pizza if we are in Oregon again we would sure be there.
Great little vineyard in between Medford and Jacksonville, worth a stop for lunch (get pizza) off of stage rd! I did get to meet and speak with the owners on site as they were working side by side with their staff members. I was attending a wedding held here!
Some friends took us to the Dancin winery Saturday afternoon. It was our first time there. The location is beautiful, the service friendly and the 2012 Pinot Noir ( they had a few different ones ) was delicious. We also had a small pizza ( they have a brick oven, the crust was outstanding ).I will insist on returning next time we visit southern Oregon.
Tuscany, Napa ??? Nope good ole southern oregon. What a lovely and relaxing place. Good wood fired pizza, big glasses of delish wine. The views are splendid. All my stress just floated away into the sky.
This winery is an unexpected gem, especially when you can sit outside. All the wine was very good and the pizza was fresh and light. On par with many Napa wineries for atmosphere!
Dancin is our favorite winery in the Rogue Valley for an all around great experience (ambience, food, wine, hospitality). The pizza, Caesar salad, and stuffed mushrooms are all excellent and the Semi-Freddo is superb for dessert. I have my favorites of their white wines and my husband likes their reds. Dan and the staff will describe a wine in detail to help you choose. We actually have to leave the area and this is one of the places we'll miss the most!
