Nothing like going around Lake of the Isles-walking, running, biking. Great homes, nice waters, 2.6 easy miles. This is vintage Minneapolis and always a pleasure to go in any season. Would like to live on the lake.
Minneapolis has such pretty lakes! We went to two lakes and they were both so lovely. The homes are just gorgeous in this area and we went on a beautiful day, so everyone was in such a great mood.
I have been walking this lake since I was young. Very relaxing, nice neighborhood, paths are clean and clear.
it's quite quiet, less crowed compared to the other 2 lakes, the houses along are beautiful, good to walk or cycling along the lake
Lake of the Isles is a great place to outdoors in the middle of the city and take in the scenery. Paved paths with lanes for bicycles or roller blades or walking. It can get very crowed on nice days in the summer.
some of the fondest memories ever for me--other than that--I will never want to live here again--never ever never -- the winters are so terrible that I have never forgotten after 32 years
I like it better than Lake Calhoun or Lake Harriet but I could think of a lot of other places to go for a walk or drive here in the Twin Cities.
What a great city, you can hire a bike for a few dollars and cycle round the lakes well worth doing. Liked the easy clearly signed bike trails and the politeness of fellow cyclists
This is a nice lake to walk. There are many beautiful homes along the shore. The park is nice, too. This is one of the better neighborhoods in Minneapolis.
We rented bikes at Calhoun lake and enjoyed the many bike paths around the city. We especially liked biking around Lake of the Isles... the homes surrounding the lake are beautiful to see!
