Cops were horrible and wanted to be the star if the shows. Seemed as though that they have the ability to arrest anyone, breaking a law or not. I was sober and a alcohol was served and people buying and enjoying were randomly arrested. Horrible, could not enjoy the entertainment for people being arrested for nothing. Won't go again.
dirty beaches, dirty water, industrial and poor. Why did we ever waste our time in this backward hole in the brown sand?
The USS Alabama is located on the Mobile Bay so I liked that so I like this. Like everything else like always
Best way to see Dauphin Island is by canoe I do believe. We spent a week here and set out just about everyday for a trek in the canoe. Beautiful and smooth water, landscapes that are breathtaking, and tons of aquatic life to see. My husband grumbled at first about bring our canoe from North Carolina but after one outing he deemed it well worth it.
Mobile bay was once one if the most productive and beautiful bays in America. She actually had 10-15 foot visibility because the monster oyster reefs filtered the silty brown water so efficiently. Those days are long gone but it is still a great bay for fishing sailing and sight seeing . The water is brown as the silt and flow from all the rivers flows into the bay. If you want blue water u need to go to Pensacola or destin
The upper part of the bay in the delta offers an abundance of wild life which can be seen in a few different ways. Great duck hunting and fishing while in season. Some people don't have a clue what they are looking at and what a great asset it bay is.
Beautiful scenery, breathtaking sunset. Wish we were there in the summer to be in the water a bit, but went during the winter. Will have to go back again in the future and have more seafood on the causeway.
We decided to go down to Mardi Gras last weekend and we saw so many beautiful sites. It's amazing how beautiful the sites are around the bay. I encourage you to stop and take in these amazing sites if you are down around Mobile.
One of the loveliest sites is Mobile Bay at sun set or sun rise. Both can be equally breathe taking. But the benefit to the area far out weights the visions it provides. It provides food to eat, a means of moving goods throughout the US and the world, and a nesting ground for birds and fish. We are so fortunate to live so close to the Gulf of Mexico and Mobile Bay is just a small part in such a large picture.
It not only beautiful to see, we had a great lunch at a bayside park, but it is incredibly to take one of the tours and go out on the water
