Great laugh but wouldn't pay the full price- we got discount as we had ski passes. Just over 5 euros
Great fun but a bit tame easy to get to by taking the gondola long and enjoyable. Dont break if you want a thrill
Not just for children but also great for big kids. You can use your ski pass to get discount price, check the days when.
Check the opening times before you head out - it's afternoons and early evenings only, cheaper on Thursday than FRiday
What a laugh!! And a perfect end to a good day's skiing. Another opportunity for a little competition - who can get down without breaking!
A bit of fun, but nothing special and not a big thrill. You get to sit over a spindly track which sometimes tips the wrong way albeit very safe. Just about worth it I suppose.
The Monty Express is essentially a monorail bound, single seater bobsleigh. It is 1400m long and lots of fun.The ride is gravity driven and user controlled by means of a stick with you pull back to brake and push forward to accelerate.Although the ride only lasts about 3 minutes (depending on how often you brake) it leaves you with a huge grin and great memories. There's no need to book, just buy your ticket from the kiosk opposite the Chalvet gondola. The ride runs from 13:30 to 18:30 and was pretty busy when we went (17:00).
What a thrill for 8€ Buy your tickets in the box office before you go in the Gondola to the top. There is a genuine sensation of speed with G Thrown in for good measure.
A good, fun thing to do for all ages!! Fabulous views over the resort. Wrap up as its cold coming down and try to go early on in the day as gets very busy once ski lifts close!
We had a go on this on a sunny January afternoon, well wrapped up in ski gear. You pay at the base of the gondola and get a discount if you have a 6 day ski pass - discount from around 8 Euro to a slightly more affordable 5 Euro 20. Take the gondola up and hop into your individual 'luge' - a seated plastic trolley with personal brake lever. The luge travels on a monorail with various twists and drops through the beautiful scenery. I found it a bit slow, despite minimal braking, but hubby was of the complete opposite opinion. Worth a go even for overgrown kids like us.
