When passing through Montrose we decided to take a quick look at this museum. It's located in the old railway station and run by enthusiastic amateurs. But there's a vast and eclectic range of objects to view ranging from a pioneer cabin, agricultural equipment, tools, railway memorabilia including a caboose, household and fashion items, radios, toys and more. It turned out not to be a quick look after all - after about an hour and a half we needed to get back on the road. Time well spent.
