I visti jackpot junction casion in November 2013 on my birthday, for the frist time in my life i really have a very nice time i like the casion alot kind of a small place but nice. a am looking forward going back an a regularly basic. thank you!
We spent 2 nights at Jackpot Junction for a conference. The room where nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was good. The slot machine were fun. We left as winners
Casino is pretty large but is very smoky, as most casinos seem to be. Only a small non-smoking gambling area. We don't gamble much but would've been nice to have a larger selection of machines in the NS area.
Stayed here for a Lions convention this past weekend. We were promised a nice place with clean rooms and good service. They more than met those goals. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and super polite. The casino was generous (to a certain extent) but a little smokey. The meeting areas were well laid out and easy to get to and from. One great point in favour, a Cariboo Coffee outlet in the hotel lobby.Well worth staying here.
My understanding is that this was the first casino in Minnesota. Sadly. It's failed to keep up. Its rather small and seems warn our overall. If you want a slow going and quiet no-frills place, come here.
We signed up for a Players Card and the staff was helpful explaining the benefits of doing that. For instance we received $2 off coupons for the Dakotah Restaurant or we could have gotten a coupon for the buffet. The casino is a good size with machines starting at a penny on up. There were some tables also. We were told they plan to remodel it soon. My only complaint is that smoking is still allowed in casinos.
Stayed and played for 2 days and it was 2 days too many! Slot are very tight. Penny machines dominate the casino, not enough variety of nickel or quarter machines such as five line machines. The few that are there are outdated and stuffed in a back corner. Only 2 in main area and they are $1 five lines. Coffee in refreshment area was horrible!Left there and drove to Mystic Lake Casino, much better. Although five lines were limited there as well, the casino was laid out better, more modern, staff was professional and it felt cleaner.
I like to go their early in the morning. 2 3 in the morning. No costermer service. Only 1 cashier for all the rooms. No drink person to offer coffee or pop. Rest rooms, way out dated. Tile old and cracked. Stalls marked with garifity. Carperting, always a lot of scrap paper on the floors. No person to take coats etc. Looks like they are just interest in making money and not putting any of it back in to the upkeep.
Buffet was way over priced and our waitress was rude. Food was very bland and very little choice. Food on the floor.
I think Jackpot Junction probably just needs to put some money into renovations. We saw Loretta Lynn here. The show was great! The Dacotah Exposition Center reminded me of a high school gym, but the acoustics were still OK and we had a great time at the show (we had nosebleed seats). Bartenders were totally great. After the show, we played blackjack and lost. But that's OK. We still had a great time!
