The Lincoln, which has been nicely renovated, is a great place to see arts films, stage productions, classic films, you name it. And you get all of this at a reasonable price.
Saw the winter performance of Irish music- very good music and dancing. Family oriented but excellent quality. The old theater has new seats and great acoustics. The wine bar is nice- often has good art displayed. They also sell popcorn. Accessibility is very good.
The Lincoln Theatre is an historic treasure that has managed to survive over the years. They have many interesting features, both live and recorded. I grew up with this theatre and love its ambience and tradition.
Hammon theater organ with chimes, piano, zyophone and pipes. Often played befor movie or other show. Building is wonderful. Operated by a local mostly volunteer group. History going back over 80 years with opertunity to tour.
The Lincoln Theatre is a restored old vaudeville theatre that had seen better days when the community took an interest in restoring it. It is now going digital, as well as new electronics, seating and decor. A jewel in downtown Mount Vernon. Wonderful features include live performances of the Metropolitan opera streamed in on the weekends, to special acts, and has a wonderful Wurlitzer organ performed before programs. The theatre is operated by volunteers who make popocorn, take tickets, etc.
A classic theater with some great entertainment. Have seen several concerts here including a fantastic Celtic show. Also a good place to see 1st run movies.
This is a beautiful old theater....fun place to go and enjoy a show. We attended a children concert performed by the Skagit Valley Symphony.
The Lincoln is old town Mount Vernon with updated projection abilities and offers a wide of variety of both live and filmed performances, including Live from the Met opera performances in real time. Small venue with a big heart.
Even if you're only in the area for a few days, try to attend something at the Lincoln. With live theater (mostly musicals), quality movies and special events, there's always something great to see in a classic theater where all seats are perfect. And the concession stand sells fresh popcorn at bargain prices, along with many other treats. Wine is available as well during intermission. The Lincoln is a local treasure and we're proud to show it off.
This is a fantastic theater dating from 1926. Back in the early days, it hosted vaudeville acts and silent movies. The old Wurlitzer organ is still in use. The seats are comfortable, the decor is very cool, and the volunteer staff are as nice as can be. Best of all, the selection of movies and shows is top-notch. Well worth a visit.
