Do the Cliff's Walk..or the Bluff Walk as some call it. Incredibly breathtaking. Just amazing. One of my favorite places in the entire world.
Beautiful beach and picturesque little town at the end of the (rather less exciting) cycle path. We had lunch at the Beachside Bistro, which was nice and lovely view on to the beach but expensive and also a good option to buy sandwiches in central Sconset and eat on the beach.
When we visit Nantucket, we always get to this beach.I think it's our favorite. It's quiet, not heavily tourists and there are some nice restaurants in the immediate area. If you want to relaxing afternoon with your wife or spouse this is a nice place to be. Get away from the crowds here.
We had a great time, riding our bikes from town to Sconset, on a sunny but windy day. It was great riding, with few others on the road.
Loved this area. The homes were so quaint with beautiful window boxes overflowing with flowers. Walked down the beach. It was very quiet and relaxing and not crowded.
Such a beautiful beach. Go see the lighthouse and upon your return, look carefully on your left for a break in the high privet. This is where you enter to take the cliff walk. There is a small plague in the ground upon the entrance letting you know you are in the right place. Though it appears you are walking thru private backyards, this is a public walk and is gorgeous...the beach, the homes, the flowers - and it takes you right back to the little town.
This was a favorite for my husband and I. Really loved the quiet serene beach. It was picture perfect. Surprised that such a beautiful spot had so few people. Not that we would complain about a private pristine beach.
Littel town square with a post office and two places for food (one closed just after Labor Day). Lovely beach but one can really get in touch with nature as the erosion is evident everywhere -- houses poised to drop into the sea, and extreme measure taken to protect the area. It is man versus nature in all its glory
This is usually my favorite beach, usually few people and short walk to public restroom and deli in town. However, this trip saw more beach-goers and there was a red tide, which did not make swimming appealing. Saw a seal as we do every year! Still a nice beach
The beach is pretty and expansive. The day we visited the water looked red there was so much seaweed.
