Everyone must go here and so it really pays to get this one first thing in the morning. It is actually much further away than it seems and will take some time to arrive as the beach is a very long one. Be sure to have eaten before as food options are limited besides agua de coco and other street food, which you will pay a premium for.
There you will get a great view of the city, however you'll have to be careful with the pick-pockets surrounding the main access.
Situated way out on an artificial spit, this fort offers a history lesson as well as a beautiful vista out on the ocean and back to the city. Reconstruction was happening during my visit but nearly every room was open to explore. It's not a big fort, but the fact that is is right above the surf zone makes it special, more so if you are there when the tide comes in.
Bearutiful location. A nice view of the Bridge. After 800 m walk along a platform you will reach unique construction.
All city tours of Natal will go to the fort. The fort is not big nor too small. It is very well preserved and has a nice view of Natal. It is worth the visit while in a city tour.
Fort of the three magis, good history spot with great views of the bridge and along the coast, nothing to dislike other than length of walk since roads closed off for World Cup fan fest
The place could have more infrastructure. However, the view from the upper level is nice! Lack of translation at least of the main history (a resume) and irregular stairs. I can't remember if there is another access to the upper level ... Please, ask before going there.
It´s a place in which you can recover the history but it´s under reconstruction and because of it it´s a little bit dirty. The view of the city is nice.
The very first and oldest part of the city, built to defend the newborn city of Natal. Spectacular view of the seaward aproach.
The Fort of the Three Wise Men has in star shape architecture and was built on the reefs. A little history of Brazil and the world can be found there. The guides are volunteers and the amount paid is at the discretion of the visitor.
