Nice place to walk around and eat and shop and look. Rather pricey though. I went there for a convention at the Gaylord. I robaby won't go back unless I get sent to a convention there again.
30 a business trip we were fortunate to have time to explore national harbor. It is a very nice area, and still growing. It's one of those places you just have to take the time to walk around and enjoy. They're all kinds of great little shops to see, and places to eat. I would say you definitely need to put aside a day to scroll through the beautiful streets and check out the shops.
This was part of a first date and it was amazing! We had such a great time walking around the shops, the waterfront, having dinner, it was so great. They were playing a movie at the waterfront on the beach, it was great for families as well.
Although the property is relatively new which is nice does not have very many high-end stores. You need to get in a car and drive off the mall property for a decent meal as there's only one place to eat and no food court. If you're in the DC area and you want to do outlet mall shopping Leesburg premium outlets are a much better choice.
I visited the National Harbor for a few hours before going to Maryland Live. My family and I went to sight see, and walk around. I enjoyed watching the big screen tv by the harbor. My mom & I went on the Capitol Wheel, the view was nice, it also had A/C inside, and they take your picture before going on the ride but for an additional fee. The only thing about going to the national harbor is traffic, and not enough parking. When you have to pay at the machine the line went outside the garage and it took almost 15 minutes just to pay.
Some restaurants are kid friendly but most are trendy. Best thing is Tanger Outlet down the street. Stores were very upscale too. But we were just there to stay, not to shop or eat out.
Nice place to go walk around when the weather is nice ou. Some pretty good restaurants. Hopefully they begin too add more activities/things to do, right now its just a little shopping and places to eat. And the Tanger Outlets are below average just like every other mall in tbd area.
Scenic location on the Potomac River across from Alexandria, Virginia. There is a very good selection of restaurants and shops as well as several hotels for overnight stays. The waterfront area includes a marina as well as an outdoor area for shows and entertainment. In addition to the summer months, a good time to visit is during the holiday season. They have a variety of activities for children and families. We stayed at the Gaylord National Resort and would return there again.
We were there at Christmas. Decorations were beautiful. There are lots of little shops and a great variety of restaurants. The wheel is a nice sightseeing adventure at a reasonable price. There is a nice playground for the children. We are planning another visit in the spring so we can enjoy the water activities.
The harbour is a great place to visit. Must see the man in the sand and visit the Peep store. At night the ferrous wheel looks really nice. We walked around to all the shops and ate at the cadillac restaurant.
