My granddaughters thinks Lewis Farm Market is the best place on the planet. As a grandfather I am very impressed with the entire of the operation. Clean, friendly, awesome baked goods, and fresh produce, and my favorite the apple cider slush. This is a place designed for family fun, and it delivers big time. The prices are also designed for family fun that does not break the bank. I highly recomend Lewis Farm Market, one very bright star in West Michigan for familes, young and old. We make the trip to Lewis Farm Market several times during the year. If you love seeing lots of animals that you can feed and pet, it's very nice.
We came across this little hidden jewel in route to our destination. We didn't have time to take in the entire attraction but we did enjoy visiting the gift shop and would recommend this place to families with small children. For a tourist attraction it was reasonably priced and would be the highlight and a childs trip, the kind of place they would be talking about months later.
We we're camping in the Muskegon area and were looking for an inexpensive day trip when my husband found a brochure on Lewis farms and decided to give it a try- we are so glad we did! Wow! This place is awesome and has so much to do! The love and creativity they have poured into this place is so evident! You really could spend a whole day here! There are tons of animals to pet/ feed($.25 a handful or a tall souvenir cup full for $5). They have createdl fun ways to feed the goats (pulley system). The donkeys, ponies, deer, emu, alpaca, bunnies, and camel are all friendly and happy to be fed and pet! They had peacocks, wallaby and prairie dogs as well! General admission is $3 and includes more than the animals; they have all kinds of fun activities, including redneck tick tack toe, tether ball, a slide, a puppet show, honey bee area, duck races and more! We couldn't pry our 7 year old from cattle roping area- he loved that! He was also super impressed that mom roped a steer on her first try (Yee Haw!) They also have a. Pol looking a pumpkin launcher that would be pretty sweet to see in the fall! For an additional $4 wrist bands can be purchased which include 1 token for the barrel train ( our 11 year old was a little big for that) and unlimited time at that jumping pillows and pedal carts. We stayed for over 3 hours; had it not been so hot and had outside food been permitted, we would have stayed even longer!Don't leave without checking out the gift shop and sampling some fudge! We went in July and got some of their AMAZING cherries! In fact we loved the cherries and the animals so much, we came back the second to last day of our trip for seconds of both!
We squeezed this in on our way home from silver lake dunes. We just fed the animals and played on the things that went with that admission. It was one of the nicest petting farms I've been too. Pretty grounds with lots to do. We have 8 children and there were things for all of them to do. We like visiting pumpkin patches in the fall. This would be a great farm to visit! Hope to come back and do more! The bakery was excellent too. We went away with some yummy snacks!
We've watched this place go from a few animals and school tours to a place for the whole family! Enjoy their many unique animals and fun farm related attractions. Their gift shop includes lots of beautiful and tasty items. There's always something new at Lewis'!
They have a very nice place foe kids. Pedal bikes, jumping air bags, goats, deer, cannons to shoot apples, it is a very nice experience for the whole family. Very reasonable entry fees.
Lewis Farm Market is the Disney World of petting zoos. Everything is so clean! Great value for us, as we only have one child, however, for the mom who complained about paying $12 per person... come on, get real! For $12 you really get a lot. There is so much to do and it takes around 2 - 3 hours to get through everything. I don't know what you would expect to pay to ride a train, feed animals, jump on the jumping pillow, play on the playground, etc., but we found it to be a fair price. It's a beautiful place that's nicely maintained, with good family fun. The gift shop is expensive, yes, but the donuts and cider were fairly priced. No complaints here!
We feel lucky to have found this happy little place. My 3 year old had a blast. All the animals seemed so friendly and my daughter enjoyed feeding all of them. The camel was one of the most gentle creatures we have ever encountered. This place is definitely fun for the family. We cant wait to come back again. :)
Every year we visit with a group of 7-10 children and 5 adults as part of a family cousins week. We love visiting and seeing the animals and playing on all of the attractions. This year we were a little upset that you have to pay $3 dollars just to walk in and around with tour children. I mean come on I am paying for the kids entry and animal food and not to mention their riding on the barrel ride. Seems a little steep
We have been going to Lewis Farms while on vacation in Muskegon for years…This was their 11th year in operation and our 9th year to go. It is so fun to watch this wonderfully run business grow year after year. This years's addition was the playful and funny prairie dogs. You can feed almost all the animals from goats to donkeys, deer and even a camel! There are wallabies, kangaroo and llamas…then there are fun things like the pedal cars, jumping pillow, chicken show and free climbing things. It is creative and fun! Can't say enough positive things about it..my kids are now 18, 15, & 12 and wouldn't miss it!!
