We do our best to make your visit to Newport a memorable one!!! Thank you.
Firstly, go to the newport visitor information center, take knowledge from the center and then visit all newport. If you go to the winter like me, you can sit in the heat center. All tours tickets are there.
We started our visit to Newport yesterday from this center. I had a plan in my mind and had done some research ahead of time but the person who we talked to yesterday-Ray-made it all clear and real, and gave us some very good advice about how to go there, what places were closed for the season, some interesting facts I had never heard of before etc. He was so passionate on advising and advertising all what makes this city a wonderful place to visit. Thank you Ray. We enjoyed our visit in Newport and will come back to explore more!

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We hope you return and have the same positive experience.
Just walk in it is free, and take a look at all the models of Rhode Island's light houses past and present. as I said the price is right, the day we went in their were no people in there. The problem with this buildings image is there can be bus people waiting to catch their local bus.
The staff were helpful and friendly--as they should be. Lots of information and maps were available. Leaflets and guide-lets were all over the place, in a positive way. Some places to sit too, which is very convenient.
