Glasgow has a little of everything. It has lots of swings and slides for the kiddos a trail to walk through, lots of deers too look at for scenery, basketball, dog park, picnics, skate park, jogging trail with lots of trees. I love to go here everyday with my daughter and husband no matter what time of day it is. It is an amazing park and I love every second that I am there. Especially when the deers are really close to us while we jog..
This is a FREE park and it has so many benefits ! I run here during the summer months and it's a great run with a hill that gives me a good challenge. I bike it, I run it, I skate it, I walk it and some even utilize the dog park, tennis courts, basketball courts, and fields for soccer, football or other uses ⚽️⚾️My sister recently used the park for her BBQ/Birthday Party. While parking is limited, it offers a nice location for summer BBQs. The location is right across from Troop Two Police Station and makes me feel secure.During the cold winter months we arrive ready to sled down the hill - many families come to the hill to sled so if it's a snow day, get there early ! ❄️⛄️
my son has cerebral palsy he goes to the park but cant play because he can not walk or sit up but at grasgow park there is a special swing for children like him and for the first time in his life he can have fun like the other kids do they need more parks and things like that for children who wanna have fun i live in marland but my sister lives in del she took me to this park and they do not have anything near me like this park and its clean
This park is pretty good. It gets crowded and parking can be an issue. For the most part it's ok though. I've gone to walk around it multiple times. It's a nice paved path to walk or jog on. Lots of people bring their dogs.
This park has 3 different playground areas for different ages/skillsets. Lots of walking trails, parking, and a great place to just chill out. It's worth the ride to get to. Its a must stop anytime I'm heading north with kids. There's one slide that's made with conveyor belt rollers which is different and fun. Nice area. Summertime bring some money for snacks as Rita's or other food vendors can be set up there.
It's a great park but the biggest problem is that there is not enough shade during hot, sunny days. The shade over those small seating areas are not enough. Plus, playing on hot equipment is not easy on the kids. They either need to build some shade over the play equipment or plant trees closer/around to the playground...
Visited the park. A trip around the track on a warmer winter day fixed cabin fever. We were not alone as the park was busy but it's a large park so isn't overwhelmed.
A large park with walking trails, playgrounds, dog park, and more. A great place to spend the day. My husband and I walk the 2.8 mile trail quite often. It can be busy, but the park is very large and can accommodate a lot of people.
This park is clean and well maintained. They also have a fenced in dog park and a huge playground for kids......... Conveniently located
I've been here several times by myself, with my family and niece and newphew and also my dog. Its a nice big open park. With walk ways, a dog park and some play grounds for children. I always feel safe when I go whether its during the day, early in the morning or in the afternoon. Always clean too! Only thing is that the dog park can really get muddy so wear some older tennis shoes and bring a towel to wipe your animals paws. :)
