Nice waterpark. Everything is saltwater which was a nice change. I have never seen a saltwater park before. It is small so if you want a ton of things to do and plan on being there more than a day you would probably do better at Hurricane Harbor. But... if you want a less expensive park that still has a good amount of activities then this one is great. They offer free parking & let you bring in your own food & drinks so you can save a ton of money especially if you have a large family. My 8 yr. old and I enjoyed the slide where you race each other head first on your belly, the purple enclosed tube ride for two riders & the other ride that shoots you up & down with water spray force. Sorry... can't remember all the slide names - but they are fun. :) One more thing... the staff was very sweet/helpful.
For a city owned and operated water park that is sustained entirely by patrons and at no expense to the residents, you could not ask for a better or cleaner facility. There are cabana rentals. You can bring in your own cooler at no expense, with some restrictions, no alcohol, sharp knives, no store or restaurant prepared food, etc.
Great family atmosphere- places for the toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged, & teens!! Everyone will have a blast!
A great family day. Parking is free, you can bring in food and drink as long as it is not in a fast food original wrapping or glass bottles. Your entrance fee accesses all the water rides, inner tubes and flotation devices. There is plenty of shade. Some of the more popular rides (the roller coaster) can have fairly long lines during busy times but the lines are mostly in the shade.I suggest you go online before your visit to see if there are any promotions such as dollars off with a Dr. Pepper can.
NRH2o is certainly a place I go every summer!! They have reasonable prices and a great park! Go early to get into the lines of the rides that are popular. The food is good and at a reasonable price.
I went in a group. [19 of us] got in with a group discount & we all had so much fun! The staff was friendly and the life guards were paying close attention to any possible accidents. I am defiantly making another trip out there soon! :) Very worthy! The kids pool and kids slides were my favorite ones since I rarely see customized pools made for "toddlers" Parents take your cameras [water proof] if possible to take pictures!! So much fun!!
Love the layout and availability of chairs for the day. Lots of sun and water. Lots of slides and splashes. Fun, Fun, Fun
Not the largest water park in metroplex but it is the best for families! Great wading area for toddlers, play area for older kids and big slides for teens!
This water park is run by the city and is quite a good value. Look for even better deals after 5:00 in the evening.
This is an all around family fun affair where you can enjoy playing with your toddler in age appropriate splash pools and also let your pre-teen and teens run free without major concern. There are plenty of choices even though it is not massive - which is one of the reason I believe it is safer. It is not so big that you can't walk around without feeling exasperated if you have lost touch with your kids. The security has been good from my experience. They also offer an holiday day park in winter where they have decorations and food and hot drinks - many of the vendors are part of the community and schools so it helps with local programs. I believe they have handicapped facilities - but there is a website to check details for this and also season passes and single tickets, hours open, attractions etc.http://www.nrh2o.com/
