The park really has 3 areas. The front which is the usual souvenir shops combined with some restaurants and a small playground, a nature / green area, and an area that features a few replicas of the the German immigrants that arrived in the lat 1800's. It's a nice portrait of the area which has been strongly influenced by the immigrants and you can find people that still maintain the German language in their families.Definitely worth a visit while in Nova Petropolis.
A beautiful urban park, costing R$5,00 an entrance. It has a few different tracking for walking or running, a lake, some stores at the entrance and a bar. The main attraction in this park is the German village with 8 different constructions. You can visit inside them and see historic objects. Liked in very much and recommend the visit
Nature preserved. Attentive attendants. Historic Sites of the German colony preserved showing a little of the lives of settlers. Story of how the cooperative began in South America in this region. "Cucas", hot chocolate and sweets in small bar.Local Romantic. Where cultural festivals are held. Beautiful flowering lakeside trees even in winter. Anyway a nice program to do with his wife and family. Duration: 2 hours.
We started a tour with a visit to Park Immigrant Village, this place is considered a living monument to German culture. Besides the many natural beauties found in the park, which is the most charming historic village, the village built homes taken through from inside of the city and brought into the park forming a real German village.
Good food for low price and nice surrounding in a German atmosphere. The restaurant is sober/simple.
A autenticidade faz diferença.
That is certainly a must when visiting the pleasant and gourgeous town of Nova Petropolis. The gardens are very well conserved with beautiful flowers, as well as the old buildings and its hundred of stuffs disposed in a small museum. The admission fee is cheap and the employees' attention was very warm too. But I confess, though cute, we thought the village too small and the expectation for a greater sample of typical houses and old buildings was not fully matched. The electric car guided tour is cheap and worthwhile, specially for elderly and disabled. The only drawback is the restaurant-bar, that seemed not clean and could have much more modern facilities as better chairs and tables. That discouraged us to stay for lunch.
