We ate in the Bistro before the show and I was somewhat disappointed. The staff struggled to cope with a full restaurant, some of our party had ordered a vegetarian meal and found pieces of meat in their dish, others were not served until very late and missed the start of the show. The hall has a terrific ambience, seating only 300 it is small enough to make you feel included in the show. On this occasion I sat in the balcony but much preferred sitting in the main body of the hall on a previous visit to the venue. If you're not eating during the show I would definitely recommend sitting downstairs. There was a full house and this definitely enhance the whole experience.
Awesome dinner prior to a show, Thanks David for the special attention and presence at the restaurant. Server Ann was awesome and the food was exceptional!! Braised Beef short ribs were awesome and my wife loved the crepes with goat cheese and beets and vegetables!!! Great food, enjoyable night, very reasonable bottle of Meritage, all in all exceptional!
Recently visit this music forum to see one of my favorite musicians Martin Sexton (If you haven't seen him live you don't know what you're missing - he's unbelievable). Small venue apparently done over relatively recently. All the musicians that played had been there either and they were mentioning how great the place was too! A bit of a drive from where I live but worth it - hell it's shorter drive than going to Boston! Great sound. All around good experience!
An hour and a half away from where I live but worth the trip! I love music and this is one best that offers live music in New England. A small intimate venue that has incredible acoustics. They offer a varied and great line up of shows to choose from that for me always ends up as a. great night out. Their staff is always friendly and helpful too.
Any music at Infinity is amazing! And the bistro is yummy too. We often walk around the little downtown area...great shops and atmosphere
Not the first time nor will it be the last time we attend a concert at Infinity Hall in Norfolk, CT. The room is small enough to not have a bad seat, yet the acoustic are that of a large symphony hall. We went for our annual fix of Acoustic Alchemy, a smooth jazz group from England, and were blown away with their blend their old songs and new tunes from a recent CD. A great evening at a great place to listen to great music.
We recently ate here and had a seat at the bar. The place is quaint with a nice varied menu (we had coconut curry, for example). Lots of fun drink selections and the food was really nice. We actually did not come for a concert but it seems like a fun place to come back to for a show next time.
This is one of the best date spots in the state! We drove a few minutes up the road to check out the foliage at Haystack Mountain. Walked in for dinner to beat the Saturday pre-show rush at 6:30. Food was top notch with a great drink selection. Love the red beet salad! We went upstairs to see the show at 8. It was a perfect night. This place is truly a gem especially in October.
First time at this venue... we were too late to have dinner. Basically walked in, sat down and the band come on right on time. Staff was extra friendly, which always starts the evening off well. Our seats were a little low and not really comfortable, but we just moved back a row or so and was very comfortable. I would imagine that the venue puts alot of efforts to maintain the theatre as it has always been. It shows - It is a beautiful room and the acoustica are point on! Can't wait to come back! And have dinner first!
Lovely restored theater, good acoustics, great artists. Not too far to travel from Westchester. Stayed at the beautiful and convenient B&B The Mountain View Inn. Will definitely return.
