There are not many things that will get me out of bed at 6am on a Sunday morning when I'm on holiday, but Noosa Farmers Market is one. You get the pick of the fruit, the flowers, the cheeses...and by 8am, your shopping bags safely stored in the boot of your car, it's time for breakfast. By 9am you're on the beach or still in time for church and the day is only just beginning. Go for it. Set the alarm - now!
We absolutely love heading to the Noosa Farmers Market. A foodies must! We especially love the French Crepes, best savoury crepes I've ever had and I never go past the buckwheat version which tastes great! They are always so nice to my daughter and always know that she likes to have a sweet nutella and banana crepe. The coffee stand next door is excellent too. I love the atmosphere in this corner of the markets.
Heaps to choose from - organic produce - locally grown food, artisan food, fresh meat and fish plus all the food shacks. Go for breakkie and stock up on fresh items at a good price. Parking is free, but watch out for ticket inspectors in the no parking zones on the street. Overall great market - always very busy. They have an ATM there and places to sit, though never enough.Well worth a visit on Sundays.
I love going to the Noosa Farmers market every Sunday morning.I like to go really early when there's not many people around.I usually get a green smoothie for breakfast and then walk around and do my weekly shop. What I love about this market is the atmosphere, the friendly stall holders, the prices and the huge range of fresh fruit and vegies.I don't shop anywhere else and love to support local farmers etc.
The best way to start Sunday morning on the Sunshine Coast is a French crepe and a café au lait at these local markets- The crepe man must have a secret source for berries and is not afraid of nutella- let's just say yummmmmmm- it's brunch of the week! The perfect belly liner for a walk through these markets for local honey, apples, rocket, beetroot or whatever is in season- it's hard to leave without something extra also like the flowers or too many mangoes or lemons (is there such a thing?). This is an authentic local market and a good way to see who really lives in Noosa and what they eat.
No need to go anywhere else in Noosa for your fresh food...this is the best. The tables up the middle to sit and enjoy your breakfast or snack were just more incentive to spend longer there. We went around the market twice to make sure that we saw everything and did not miss a thing...just loved it. Everything that we bought there was superb other than the French crepe stand where the man serving was rude and did not even know if the cream he offered was real cream or fake. The crepe was very very average and we regretted getting it....his manner should have warned me. He really lets the whole market down but I won't let his lack of standards re: service and quality of food stop me from giving the rest of the market five stars. They all earned it. We would always make sure to shop there when in Noosa.

Noosa Farmers Market is a great place to spend some time Sunday mornings & the Crepes from the french crepe stall are just the best thing for breaky or lunch. Love the Buckwheat option. Awesome to share with the kids too. Healthy & delish & they're always so friendly there. Would totally recommend
The produce was fresh, unique, organic and rare - hard to come by at your local grocers. Bush ripened tomatoes were my favourite. Lots of treats to keep the little ones entertained.
