Loved the coast walk from Noosa main beach along Little Cove, Boiling Point, Tea Tree Bay, Dolphin Point and Winch Cove. When we arrived at the lookout we saw a goanna and also 4 large ocean turtles feeding. There were 2 beaches along the walk, so take bathers for a swim. The walk was a 1hr 30 min round trip.
Just love Tea Tree Bay. It is a little walk through the National Park. Once at Tea Tree it is a perfect surfing point as well as a great beach for kids. The forna and Flora is the best you can get. When sitting on Tea Tree you cannot see any houses or buildings you could be anywere in the world. It is still the same as it was 40 years ago when we first came here.
Just beautiful views, great for photos, see koala if you are lucky enough! Hard to get a parking but amazing spot for surfing, bush walking, looking for crabs for the children, lots of fun for them...
This park is absolutely amazing. I was staying nearby and went for a run through and it absolutely took my breath away. The views of the waves crashing on the cliffs are amazing. The trails are great for joggers, too, very well maintained. This is an incredibly asset to the local area.
great walk to hells gate & back - great scenery, took 2 hours to walk there & back, stopped & had swims, breaks in the shade under the beatuiful trees, saw the little green turtles - was very special
风景很好,非常浪漫!走路去顶部有点徒步登山的感觉,所以如果你不是一个特别喜欢坐车的人的话,这是一个不错的选择。
What a beautiful area . The coastal walk is as long or short as you wish . The scenery is breathtaking and the birds in abundance and some of them clearly very used to humans passing through so happy to sit on branches and perform for us . Some of the paths are inland but we only had time to wander along the coastal route . Would love to go back with picnic ( and binoculars !) and sit for longer on one of the little beaches in the future but unfortunately we were not prepared as we only came upon it by chance . Loved Noosa so much we were only meant to stay for 1 night but stayed for 3 !
A trip to Noosa Heads for us is never complete without going on one of the National Park walks. There are five walks and we usually do the Coastal walk from near Little Cove around to Hells Gates where we change to the Tanglewood Track for the loop back to the start of the walk. This time we also did the Alexandra Bay track and the Palm Grove circuit, which is just a pleasant stroll compared to parts of the other walks. I can’t remember how many times we have done one of the National Park walks but we have never seen so much wildlife as on this trip: koala, dolphins, turtles, goannas, lizards and even a ringtail possum as well as the usual bush turkeys. The birdlife along some of the tracks also adds to the experience with their chirping and calls. One reason we keep going back to Noosa Heads is the proximity of the National Park to the beach and our accommodation in Hasting Street along with the restaurants, cafes and shops.
