One of the places we always go to when we go to Ocean Shores. The kids love to climb on the rocks and a great place to collect small round rocks, we use them for crafts. The beach here is sandy and a nice place to sit and relax and play in the sand!
This is a cool beach and the best beach at Ocean Shores. There are a lot of great recreation options here: fishing, beach combing, bird watching ( pelicans, owls at times in the winter), beach fires, picnic and wake boarding to name a few. This beach is only a few miles from down town Ocean Shores.
Great parking, clean and well-maintained. Agates are located just a ways down once you walk northward on beach.
As a new resident of Ocean Shores, I am enjoying discovering all the nooks and crannies of the town. The jetty has quickly become my favorite spot as each trip is a new experience based on weather and tides. Be cautious though, of high tides or stormy weather which can make that area dangerous.
The jetty provides the best place for shore fishing in Ocean Shores. Also the adjacent beach is a great place to fly kites
Okay for younger people and would be nicer if the weather was better. View is good; weather wasn't good while we were there--probably would have enjoyed it if the sun was out.
Great place to see the surf crashing, especially during a storm. We stopped here and enjoyed the views. We love the Washington coast and this was a great place to watch it. Bundle up on windy days though. It was cold when we were there!
My friends and I went to the jetty to hang out on the rocks. It's a great place to visit! We sat on a particularly flat rock and played some music and drank and hung out. Beautiful place and watching the waves crash against the rocks was stunning.
There are no restaurants, or attractions apart from the Pacific Ocean, but really, what else do you need? This is a great place to bring food from town and have a picnic. This is also the place to stroll and explore the beach or just pull up a comfortable rock and check in with yourself and the ocean. The way to roll here is to climb the paths to the top of the dunes as you walk onto the beach approach- and take in the view of the Jetty, the beach, Westport, and the open Ocean. The top of the dunes are also one of the best places to whale watch. Use awareness when climbing on the Jetty rocks, and do not let kids climb alone. There are no lifeguards, and rip tides and rogue waves can be dangerous. With all that being said- this will be the highpoint of your trip- don't miss it!
A little bit of everything there. you can hike and if you like just sit and watch the waves. lots of parking and easy access.
