Unique experience, absolutely nothing to dislike. Even the drive to get their, is fun and surrounded by nature all the way.
I am pretty tolerant of poor conditions and unclean restrooms. This place was shiny. Very clean. Nice facility. Here is the one star. These were the rudest people, except for Brian. Brian was cool. Everyone was rude. The zip line guy was on Facebook before we rode the beast, and I literally had to clip my own carabiner onto the zip line pulley. Terrible attitudes and bad service. The ride was super fun.
This visit to Toro Verde has been one of the most exciting adventures in my life! , starting for the trip from San Juan to Toro Verde , you can see a beautiful view of the mountains, very nice weather and once you reach this place you can find a Restaurant with a very nice view and excellent local food, also the experience to ride "the beast" is simply incredible, this is a "you have to visit" place, believe me!
Toro Verde is an excellent place to go ziplining, Puerto Rico is placed #3 in this attraction. The park has been given a "face lift" it looks great and it's very safe to walkaround the trails. The resting areas are appropriate and the restaurant is awesome. The park itself is a bit pricy for the locals but if you buy a "GUSTAZO" when available the price is just right, you can find them in Facebook for the specials. I thought the "BEAST" line was the most scary. To my surprise is the most safest ride because you use a complete body harness and you don't use your hands to gear the line like on the other ones. Try it you won't regret it!!!
Our guide Antonio made our ride fron Condado to the rainforest very enjoyable. He was professional, courteous and on time. His knowledge of local wildlife, culture and activities enriched our experience tremendously. He was also very gracious when our seven year old daughter got car sick. If you're headed for a zip line tour, go to Toro Verde and ask for Antonio by name. My only concern was for the staff working the platforms not being clipped in themselves while working so perilously close to the edge.
Great place and best adventure if you afraid of high sorry. When you are on lines you feel like Angel, I recommend and before you go the restaurant is excellent and the price are Ok
The Beast is amazing! Overall fun place to visit but expect to spend the whole day here. We were told to arrive no later than 830am. We waited over an hour for the tours to start as they were waiting for more people to arrive. After completing the ropes course we were informed all the ziplines were closed because the staff was going on lunch and would resume at 1pm. We were encouraged to go eat in their moderately expensive restaurant or visit the gift shop while we waited. You could easily complete all the activities in about 4 hrs but we were stuck there for 8 hrs. It was fun but had we known all these details we would have packed a lunch and not rushed there to hurry up and wait. Overall just poor time management.
Toro Verde was amazing! Darwin and Jeriel were amazing guides and made us feel safe and confortable every turn. Flying over the mountains was breathtaking. The beast seems unreal and its a thrill. I'll definitely go back.
This is my second trip down the ziplines tour. Done it first by day and now at night. It is a great experience and I would be back again many times. Only thing I would fix are the trails some are a bit scary but its part of the fun.
Only did the Beast ride but it was very nice and fun. Went with a group of friends and we did not wait long in line, and it was Sunday morning. The staff is very nice. The facilities look very professional and well kept. Beautiful surroundings. I hope to go again and try the other rides. Don't have previous experience in this kind of parks, but I am sure that is one of the best you are going to find in Puerto Rico.
