这里很有趣,把我们的记忆带回到童年熟悉的故事里。整个游览还是有些贵的,所以我们去了书店,然后在草坪周围散步,因为主人告诉了我们哪些地方是亮点。
,Odense is populated by street corner sculptures of trolls and monster-footed benches. Hans Christian Andersen's birthplace is crammed with fairytale-related attractions, to visit Hans C.A house which Surrounded by charming old houses
Very well illustrated museum featuring a number of exhibits including the alleged home of Hans Christian Andersen. The tour of the museum included a live documentary and Danes dressed in period costumes.
In this museum they have collected every bit they could find from H.C. Andersen's life. The short movie of his life was also very enlightening. But it gets boring after a while, because there is more than necessary information. Every step he took in his life is thoroughly explained. Still, you might get to see many interesting things and have an insight of the person who wrote many of the fairytales we grew up with.
Enjoyed this self guided tour with colleagues. Admission includes the miseaum, birth home, childhood home, and museum. The museum walks you through his life, all the way from his poverty stricken childhood, through his dealings with Dickens, all the way through his death. The details provided, along with the simulated artifacts, really tell the tale. Definitely worth the time and price of admission.
This was part of Cosmos tour in Odense, Denmark. If you are a huge fan of Hans, you would really enjoy seeing each and every letter, drawing and artifact of his life. Otherwise, it is quite boring! It was interesting how they put the time he lived in into world perspective. The movie was ok. The outdoor theater was closed as it was a Sunday so maybe if we had been able to see one of his stories acted out it would be different.
This place was kind of hard to find, but it's cute, in a very cute town, in a very cute bookstore. you have to go up and it's a little room, there's his books, his writing, different languages of his fairy tales. there's also a big statue. right next to it is a section where they sell used books. it's a nice place and it's free, great to check out when you're in solvang anyways. there's also the hans christian andersen park next to it, with another statue.favourites: so cute, every child's hero!do not want: it's small, the park is small too, can't be there for too longlast words: check it out if you're in the area, a must if you're a fan
Wow. This museum has to be the least interesting museum I have ever visited. That seems difficult, considering the subject matter. The displays were drier than dry. Poor lighting, no interaction and amateur displays. There is a big room of books in various languages and collections to show you that his works were published in many languages. Can you think of anything less interesting than looking at a bunch of old books behind glass and on dusty bookshelves? I can't.I found it funny that the gift shop was sad as well - as if the staff knows that after visiting the museum, you'd just want to get out of there and not have a memory of the museum.Save your money and time and skip this silliness. Spend your time wandering the streets which are very quaint and interesting.
