Went to the choice restaurant for their lobster buffet. I was really disappointed. The price was extremely expensive. There was a 3 hour wait and the lobster was really wet and over cooked. I heard so much about Pala seafood buffet I had to try it and I must say for the price, over cooked lobster and the extremely long wait it was not worth it. If you love buffets and willing to wait for hours to eat you might want to try it.
Yes, this was our first time here tonight and it was well worth the drive from San Jacinto, Ca. We didn't gamble but did eat at their "Choices" buffet which we enjoyed very much and I just gave a positive review for at tripadvisor.com. While we were there we walked around and notices right away that even though they do allow smoking in the casino, we didn't notice any smoke so they must have a very good ventilation system. There are several restaurants here, including a deli, but we only tried the buffet I mentioned. We walked outside to the pool area which looks very clean and quite scenic. I heard the rooms are very nice and we hope to stay overnight here not too long from now. Also, we didn't have any problem finding a parking space close to the entrance. All the employees we talked to while here were very nice to us.
Is this place really in California? Must be the worst air quality in the state. They need to take some cues from Vegas casinos. Better filtering and some no smoking areas would help a lot. And the restaurants are right in the midst of the smog. Avoid.
Pretty much liked everything the restaurant the slots were adequate just a very nice friendly place and very safe security was all over
I love going to Pala great atmosphere, friendly staff, lots of places to eat. WE come here every week well worth of drive of 1hr and 45min. My husband and I love to dance we just listen and drink. Play a little bit.WE stayed once a month when we can. Nice hotel. R,LBC
Lots of interesting slot machines, nicely clean, several restaurants of differing cost and choice levels. The band during the daytime was not that good
I visited this place while staying nearby in San Marcos. Was well worth the drive, which was only about 20 minutes. Very clean place, with a great ambiance. Nicely layed out, with a ton of slot machines, lots of table games, crap tables, and a very nice poker room, which is where I hung out. Only had enough time to visit for the one trip, but would gladly go back. Walked around the casino and checked out the resort. The pool area looked nice, as did everything else I saw.
I'm not really a fan of all the "bonus bets". They should just add more regular gaming tables instead of all the weird blackjack ones.
First time visiting Pala Casino. Just a casino, nothing great about it. The décor is very ordinary and the slots are so tight we had no fun whatsoever playing them. We just kept feeding them, with no return.......hardly even a cherry.....so we left. Will not be back.
The hotel is very nice but watch out even if you checked in already your room might be cancelled after midnight if you didn't use the room key, common!I was busy feeding the slots!Couple of wheel of fortune being taken away right before the huge jackpot getting mutual. Used to be a fun place for slot not anymore, by the way their own employees play there too.I was just suspected it before but even their employees confirmed.
