This place should be patronized! The owners are friendly and so are the rest of the staff. They have a nice/clean storefront where you can purchase all of their products that they distill on premises. The best part is that everything they make is from grain to glass. If you are lucky you may be able to procure some of their excellent aged products. P.S. Try the St. Elmo's Fire!
Very close to the freeway. On and off. Family owned and run. Lots of shine available but Bourbon sells out quickly when available. Feel like they are a little pricey compared to other larger distilleries.
Stopped by on the way to Nashville, TN for a wedding. Great break in the 5 hour drive! The staff was extremely friendly. We took the tour and then went to taste everything. A young girl from Wisconsin was pouring us tastes and she was awesome. She knew a lot about each item - she made the tasting a lot of fun. We ended up buying a few bottles and t-shirts. We have family in TN so look forward to visiting again! Also, I want to check out Pickin' on the Porch - looks awesome.
Learned how their distills don't need to be watered down. Their products are tasty & can be used for many craft cocktails. Nice & friendly staff
Been wanting to stop by and see want the distillery was like but never had a chance. Made it finally and we will be back! Very small and simple. The staff were super nice. Next time we have family in town we will bring them here. Hopefully during the summer we can get to one of the picking on the porch events.
Just of Hwy 24, in idyllic surroundings, MB Roland Distillery is a fun stop. They offer more flavors of moonshine than I ever imagined existed. The staff is friendly and helpful. They offer tours at the top of every hour. Definitely worth a stop if you are spending time in the area.
This is a great place to stretch your legs when traveling on I-24. The staff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. The tastings and tour are free and very fun. We traveled with our young children and they enjoyed the walk around the property, talking about the "white and black dog" and looking into the fermentation tanks. Unfortunately, we were not able to try any of their bourbon as it was all aging in the barrels but we would make a special trip out when they have some ready. The whiskeys and shines had a very unique flavor. We especially LOVED the black dog shine made from corn that is smoked on property using old tobacco smoking methods. We bought a bottle and have thoroughly enjoyed it. My only complaint is that I didn't buy more! Thanks so much for such an enjoyable visit.
truly a great small distillery. It was a great tour of their facilities. i would recommend it to anyone.
My wife and I were visiting our Daughter and Son in law at Fort Campbell. I was looking for things to do and see around the area when I came across this place. I went for the tour on a Wednesday afternoon. It seems I was the only person for the tour at that time. The tour is not much to see but does give a lot of info on the making of whiskey and Shine. The gift shop and tasting bar are very nice. If in the area I would recommend visiting the gift shop and tasting bar. The tour does not offer much to see but is educational. Not a place I would go out of my way to visit but did enjoy the time I spent there.
This is a great place! Fantastic products are available for sale, and the staff is great. They were so informative! I was personally guided around the grounds. The tour was educational and fun. I love whiskey, and the Bourbon was excellent! They take such care to make a great spirit. The staff also guided me through a wonderful tasting. would highly recommend a visit!
