  Приезжали несколько раз. Первый раз приехали к закрытию. Работают до 14.00. Хорошо погулять в тенистой местности этой крепости. Поют цикады, море вдалеке. Много сохранившихся построек.

  Located on the west of the Peloponnese, this castle offers an impressive view of the small Golf of Navarino, and overlooks the small fishing village of Pylos. Though the latter possesses the charm of small greek towns, the castle definitely remains the only attraction if you don't have much time. The citadel and its battlements will appeal to people interested in history; unfortunately, there aren't a lot of information panels, so you had better read from your own book if you want to understand this castle's importance in the history of Greece. The location and the view are superb.
