Un'abitazione popolare nell'antico Borgo S.Giovanni trasformata in "lieu à manger" per palati autentici. Carni per ogni gusto: bistecche, costate, lingua, coda, trippa. E poi legumi e buona cantina. I tavoli sono per pochi fortunati, il rapporto qualità/prezzo è eccellente. Una sorpresa: la finestra della saletta da pranzo è allineata con l'ingresso della Commenda dei Cavalieri di Malta.

We stopped at Pepe for a quick bite that turned into a great meal -- we just could not stop eating the great food they serve. Highlights of the meal included a delicious chickpea soup, and pasta Norma. I ate pasta Norma all over Sicily for weeks before arriving at Pepe in Piazza Armerina. This offering was by far the best. Not a lot of atmosphere here, but great service and terrific food.
