Called into the Golf club for my sunday lunch, have to say very good the staff was more than helpful will be back soon.
Went here for food for my mothers birthday, was a Sunday carvery and although the food was tasty, I felt that the customer service was terrible and was very inconsistent. Wasn't told over the phone that there was a dress code and when I arrived was told that I couldn't come in because I didn't have a collared shirt. This caused annoyance in which I had to get a collared shirt that was four times too big and wear it in order to eat. Really disappointed by this and I won't return.
Portstewart is a course worth playing, as the front nine are spectacular holes. While the back nine lack the majestic dunes, the holes are competitive and the overall experience is one to include on your itinerary.
Although it's a Golf Club it's wonderfully inviting and friendly And absolutely nothing to dislike here. Try the fish, chips and mushy peas. Best in the area
Played the Riverside Course. Lovely course, a bit easier than the championship course but plenty of variety and great value.
The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and it was a pleasure to play the challenging course and stop for a drink afterwards. Thanks to Michael Moss and the team for a memorable visit.
The golf club bar & restaurant are situated in a great position overlooking the beautiful beach -good reasonably priced food with very friendly waiting and bar staff.
Played here between rounds at Portrush. Very nice course. Quite challenging. Beautiful views. Caddies were great- you have to be a member to be a caddy

We enjoyed the excellent Sunday carvery lunch at the golf club. Service was prompt and attentive. We had mussels in cream sauce and a prawn cocktail for entree. There were 4 entrees to chooose from. Both ours were good. Then the carvery where there were 4 meats to choose from. These are carved to order and then you self serve your vegetables and gravy or sauce. All the meats were tender and tasty and there was a good range of vegetables. Then we chose from the dessert menu and both had a delicious creme brulee. Coffee or tea plus shortbread biscuits completed the meal. You can just order the main meal but the full lunch is good value. This was one of the best meals we have had while visiting Northern Ireland and strongly recommend the golf club.oh yes and the ocean views are lovely.
